"Kurt was easy to reach via email or telephone. Apprised us of his approach to stripping our deck of its horrible paint coating and was upfront of the general cost during his first visit. He did need to be reminded to provide a specific contract upfront. "The owner came for a free estimate and explained all that would be done. He was very personable and down-to-earth;  his demeaner was sincere . He did not require any down payment for the work. He contacted the company who initially stained my deck to find out the exact products and stain color that was used since it was important to me that the same color be used.  I don't think any other company would have done that; they would have made the owner do it. I was impressed!  I asked for references of previous work he had done and I was sent 4 names, email addresses and phone numbers of previous clients and their  responses were all excellent. The workers came the day they said they would and performed all of the job as scheduled.   I found some areas where the stain had not taken as well and they returned right away to resolve the problem to my satisfaction before any payment was accepted. The owner also stopped by afterwards to observe the work done and make sure it was satisfactory.
