"Wilbers Painting company did an excellent job painting my gutters/downspouts and trim around my front door. I also had my front door stained which did not come out to my satisfaction the first time and I showed Wilber a picture of the door and he came back and re-sanded the door and re-stained it. "Job was bid as 2 days, prime bare wood, paint 2 coats enamel. Price seemed fair for that work. The good: workers on-time and pleasant, all surfaces were well sanded, final finish looks good. The uncertainties: no primer in sight. Asked painter and he said primer only used on new cabinets not repaint jobs. There was some pealing and bare wood exposed on cabinet doors. Enamel paint can says to prime bare wood before top coat. Job bid for 2 days and finished in 6 hours because they only allowed 30 minutes drying between enamel coats. Paint can says dry 4 hours between coats. Maybe will be OK because it was a warm dry day. Won't really know if job will stand up for a couple years. Based on 3 workers for 6 hours, allowing $100 for paint that works out to over $90 an hour. Even with overhead that seems excessive and I feel like I am overpaying for what actually occurred as opposed to what was bid."

Did not leave a mess and costs were not excessive. Was able to complete job in a day with time between priming and painting. Would recommend him."

"My experience with Pro Stage from start to finish was awesome. Like most people do--I had several contractors come out to give me 'free' estimates. Each of those companies gave me one ridiculous quote after the other, where clearly their main goal was just to put as much of my money in their pocket as possible. A few companies, whom I won't name, even quickly gave me their speech about having their minimum fee for a customer to even be worth their time. (I never do business with those type of companies by the way and neither should you) Pro Stage was very different. Edwin was very personable and offered good 'ol fashioned honest business, where each side feels good about the agreement. Edwin performed high quality work and it was clear that he cared about the work he was doing, as if it was his own home that he was working on. Even a heavy flash flood couldn't stop Pro Stage, as they simply waited it out and then got right back to work. Friends and coworkers also wanted Edwin's information after seeing my newly improved deck, so I'm sure he'll be hearing from them as well. Not only would I hire Pro Stage again, I plan on it!"
