The natural oak stain on the stairs was well matched to the existing flooring and the paint job was well done with Sherwin Williams Cashmere (upcharge from Promar). Overall a good value."

"Excellent work! James was responsive to our request for a site visit and quote. His team were punctual and professional, and the finished result is a house we are proud of and which we feel sure will look good for years to come.
Our 1974 cedar wood house had a terrible paint job about 7 years ago.  James clearly oulined his plan to put right the damage which had been done including recommending the correct paint type for our environment (on the Bay) .  He was flexible on the schedule so we could fit in the work around house guests.  His team arrived punctually on the assigned day. First he demolished an old, unused external staircase, removed all debris and repaired the area. Then the house was power washed, scraped and caulked.  Guttering was removed and minor repairs carried out.  Undercoat was applied and then more caulking, spackling, sanding and prep work before the final painting.  The team took care to cover the surrounding areas and cleaned up every day. James also sent a team of carpenters to frame out our windows.  All trim was painted white.  Finally, they painted our Trex deck to complement the new color.  The end result is a house which is transformed and which neighbors stop to comment about.  I would recommend Chesapeake Painting Services and will certainly use them again.

"It took a couple of days to complete because there were a lot of cabinet doors and drawers and the winter weather was not cooperating, but they were able to complete the job and it looks great. The finish came out very well, my guests were surprised when I told them it was spray painted, it looks like a factory finish. A two man team did the job and they arrived on time and left the area clean every day. I provided my own paint from Benjamin Moore."

"They did a decent job at staining my deck, but they missed a few spots. I asked the owner to address this issue and he said he would send his folks to take care those spots. Unfortunately, no one ever came do those touch ups. Overall, follow up was poor and non-existent based on my experience. This is an update on my previous review. The owner reached out to me and apologized for the delay in the touch up work and promptly came back and completed the touch ups personally. Overall, I'm happy with how my deck looks. Based on this and my interaction with the owner, I do believe that this company cares about its customers' satisfaction and that my initial experience may have been an exception rather than the norm."
