"The would recommend that you have detailed information and drawings of what you want your project to look like. During my project many conflicts and questions arose over how they performed the preparation, framing, and type of concrete used. This project was to replaced the old concrete do to water standing which in winter would freeze at the bottom step. The new concrete has the same problem of small area of standing water after a rain."

"Mr. Chapman sent two of his contractors to help me to build two tacks and organize and store all of my personal items on the shelves in part of the basement and garage. The young men worked really hard for 7 hours non stop and they were perfect gentleman who followed instructions very well and they knew exactly what to do. If you need a handyman. I recommend them."

"The work was originally scheduled for Friday; however, Mr. Vazquez texted me early that morning to let me know that he would not be arriving at 8:00 as scheduled due to the rain. He said he could come later that day or Monday or Tuesday of the next week. I return texted that later Friday or Monday would work for me. When he didn't show up on Friday, I assumed he'd come on Monday but I wasn't 100% sure. Of course, I could have followed up myself. However, no worries. Rigo showed up early Monday and got right to work. I am very pleased with his skills, work ethic, and sharp eye to go above and beyond. He started inside on the kitchen ceiling but moved back and forth between the inside work and outside work. Letting the ceiling applications dry, while he worked outside. Efficient! Rigo also noticed my (ahem) less than professional spackling work in the kitchen over some screws and chips in the wall. He went ahead and fixed those up too. So much nicer! Rigo also pointed out that the garage wood had rotted because no flashing had been installed at the top. He ASKED if I wanted him to add that and asked if I wanted wood or that wood-alike that doesn't rot. Seems like small potatoes but I've certainly had others who did work and did not give me any info or options. Much appreciated. After he'd completed the outside work, Rigo borrowed a broom to sweep up. The kitchen was also quite clean. Obviously, I still need to do a good sweep, but it is much cleaner than I'd anticipated.
All in all, a job well done. Add in the Angie's List discount and I even give them an A on pricing.  This is the 4th or 5th company I contacted to fix the garage trim and the first who showed up. I thought I was jinxed. I've begun my list for spring - interior cracks in the stairwell and the trim around the basement windows. I will be hiring Vazquez and Son again.

"I can't say enough good things about Edy Lopez and his team from Rapid Inventions on our project to replace the boards and railings on our deck. We sought out a quote through Angi, and he responded very quickly. He was very thorough in his evaluation of our existing deck and provided details on the options we wanted to consider. "The painter arrived on time. I provided the paint; he provided the brush and covering for the front sidewalk and back cement area next to the door. There is cement between the porch floor and the brick wall. He painted the cement but we had a disagreement about whether he left paint on the brick ; he said no and I said yes. There was an area of white paint on the brick; when I touched it with my finger there was paint on my finger. The area below the cement was not covered up during the painting process and now shows paint. The back door had not been painted in many years and had cracked paint. The painter scraped off the old paint on the door and around the door frame. The company provided a discount for being an Angie's List member. This company office was difficult to reach prior to coming for the paint job. I called the office but calls were not quickly returned. I was advised to buy a specific brand of paint but when I had additional questions no one from the office contacted me."
