As for Brad K., the job begins with Brad coming to your house and conducting an Energy Audit. This gives everyone a far better understanding as to what needs to be done in your home. And, Brad concludes with conducting a “ Test Out,“ to see the improvements. Pepco will offer you a partial rebate for the work completed and they are very satisfied with a 20% reduction. As for us, we hammered Brad with dozens of questions over the course of time before and after we ratified an agreement. "The team arrived slightly early to be well prepared to start the job on time. As they began they laid down protective barriers to keep the home clean. While in the attic they blew in the insulation with an even consistent barrier, ensuring that all locations with infrastructure were well covered. As they wrapped up the job, they cleaned behind them as they closed up the attic, removed the floor coverings and were on their way. The only way I can tell they were here is that the heat runs less in the winter and the air conditioning runs less in the summer. I would recommend this process and this team to anyone who owns a home and has not insulated their attic."

"There was a problem initially with the radiant barrier installation - the first crew of two were installing 30" wide rolls lengthwise along the roof end to end  instead of from ridge to eave as the manufacturer recommends and made a couple of other minor mistakes which were easily corrected. After talking to the manufacturer, the sales rep offered to take out what had been installed and re-install according to spec or continue as already done with sealing of all seams and a discount on the job. Done this way, the foil would not have the insulation properties per spec but would provide the radiant barrier I desired. I chose the letter option and the barrier work was continued by another crew on the 2nd day. On the 3rd day the crew finished up with the barrier then blew in the installation.

With the exception of the initial problem, the work was done neatly and professionally by courteous workmen who cleaned up completely after the job was done.

Company personnel scheduled to do the work on a semi holiday and they arrived on time/when they said they woudl.  They were very attentive to doing a good job - they lined the floor with plastic; they vacuumed up excess insulation).  They even phoned up days after completing the project to inform us that we might be able to take advantage of a tax benefit.  We would definitely recommend this company."
