They did a comprehensive audit and we discussed issues that could be remediated prioritized by the biggest bang for the buck and then they did the fixes we agreed upon. "We needed insulation applied only to the underside of the house at this time. The guy who came out to give an estimate was great. The guy that came out to do the spray job (I expected a team and got just one guy) was super nice. The spray foam would appear to be difficult to manage during application as some spots only have a skim of insulation while others seem to have 7 inches of it. The office..... trying to get any information from that office.... was a hassle way beyond my wildest nightmares. Getting the estimate took days, getting scheduled took days. They have only one person working to do all of the scheduling and she "is out of the office" during a whole heck of a lot of "our office hours are from...". Figuring out what I needed to know to pay online took pulling teeth. It was the best price I got and it will make a world of difference to that house structure and its moisture issues.... but good grief!"

"There was a problem initially with the radiant barrier installation - the first crew of two were installing 30" wide rolls lengthwise along the roof end to end  instead of from ridge to eave as the manufacturer recommends and made a couple of other minor mistakes which were easily corrected. After talking to the manufacturer, the sales rep offered to take out what had been installed and re-install according to spec or continue as already done with sealing of all seams and a discount on the job. Done this way, the foil would not have the insulation properties per spec but would provide the radiant barrier I desired. I chose the letter option and the barrier work was continued by another crew on the 2nd day. On the 3rd day the crew finished up with the barrier then blew in the installation.

With the exception of the initial problem, the work was done neatly and professionally by courteous workmen who cleaned up completely after the job was done.

"The work that Metro Insulation, LLC did was well done. The contractor was very kind. I was a new member of Angie's List at that time. I didn't really understand so much what the big deal was. It wasn't a very large break in the price, but it wasn't a tremendous amount of money so I was glad we did this. I would recommend the company. The insulation they installed did end up making our house warmer. The price was considerably more than what I expected it to be, but I really wanted to get this done so I didn't comparison shop. I would shop around more before making a decision whether I would use them again."
