They did an outstanding job from conception through to the last details in finishing an extensive series of renovations - complete kitchen tear-down and renovation, master bathroom and closet teardown and renovation, two bathroom complete retiling/renovation, building two new rooms out of a very large basement, and replacing two forced air HVAC systems - they managed all aspects including proper construction permits. They did high-quality work at a very good price. They did an outstanding job with the work, with high attention to detail. "Matt is a very nice, professional person.  All went well with a slight exception for the garage doors- they are mahogany wood and the wood panels used to replace the originals did not match the original wood type, nor the grain.  Hence, the grain, which shows through as well as the stain color on the new panels do not match well with the original panels surrounding them.  Matt tried very hard to be helpful and came back to re-stain the panels a few times.  I am a professional in the design/architecture industry and tried to help with suggests as to how we could arrive at a color that would match best.  Each time we spoke about it, he was responsive, professional and courteous.  Ultimately, I would work with him again on other projects due to his professionalism.

"We have used LFC for several jobs. Tony, the owner, is really lovely, excellent with communication, and very honest about what they can and cannot do--to include realizing as he began a project that we needed some additional inspections to address some issues before we papered over them, something that cost him money but saved us a lot. That takes integrity. The quality of the repairs themselves have varied. They did a lot of drywall and post-plumbing-flood repairs that made the dining room truly look like nothing ever happened. They also did a fantastic job replacing one of our back doors to make it airtight. However, the painting took several tries to get right, and the second door still has a gap in the lower right hand side that lets air in. We have an old house that was cosmetically re-done before we bought it but never truly renovated, and whoever did the refurbishments did a shoddy job, so LFC certainly has had its work cut out for them. I do really appreciate how responsive and kind Tony is, and everyone who comes out to do repairs is very friendly. That is a rare quality in home services these days."

Francisco and his team did exceptional work and took great care of my home throughout the entire project. One thing I especially appreciated was Francisco taking the time to go shopping with me for materials. I really didn’t know what I needed, and he helped me make selections, offering suggestions on good-quality materials that would work within my budget. Because we weren’t sure how extensive the damage would be until the work began, I needed a contractor who could be flexible as issues came up. Home Breakthrough was able to handle the additional work, including a secondary ceiling repair. The project did take longer than originally quoted, but that was understandable given the additional repairs and work that became part of the project.
