As always, we received an email and a phone call to let us know when the HVAC technician would be arriving. The Holtzople HVAC technicians are always very professional, clean, thorough, and polite and friendly. They are always willing to answer any questions we have, and their expertise and experience are evident in the excellent service they provide."

"I’m back again to write another stellar review for GAC. Last year they replaced our HVAC system; this year we circled back and had them install a home generator. This was a long and drawn out process due to the various approvals needed from Montgomery County as well as coordination with Washington Gas (which ended up not just being a simple sign off but necessitating an additional, expensive upgrade to the gas line from the street to our home). Nevertheless, GAC did a fantastic job shepherding this process over the 6+ months of waiting on stakeholders, and they were also maximally accommodating to our family’s significant constraints on time and availability (due to health concerns related to a medically fragile family member). A special kudos to Sandy M, GAC’s master electrician, who took it on personally to ensure we were taken care of all throughout this process, going above and beyond with phone calls, text messages, personal visits, etc. on behalf of my family, I want to thank GAC and am giving top marks across the board for this effort which was complex , lengthy, and ultimately successful."

"Everything went great. My AC died and it was close to 20 years old so I wanted the whole unit replaced. I have 4 young kids so no AC in the summer was not a pleasant option. The owner came out on site the day we called and was able to have the new unit installed the next day. I have dealt with many HVAC companies in the past as an Insurance Adjuster. "I was lucky enough to have someone refer me to BlueStar Air Mechanical when my AC started acting up. The home warranty company confirmed that it was busted, but their mechanic was unreliable. After contacting a couple of other companies and having high quotes, I contacted Danny at BlueStar. The next morning (on a Saturday, nonetheless) I met Rhandel who quickly gave me a quote to replace my HVAC system (furnace and condenser). Rhandel was very nice and thoroughly explained my options. My home has two HVAC systems, so he also added a quote for the second system (which was on its last legs, too). The systems recommended were upgrades to what I had (increasing 1/2 ton on each system). To accommodate this, BlueStar included extra ductwork for me so that my house could accommodate. We met on a Saturday, agreed on a price on Monday, and everything was installed on a Thursday. They sent two crews and these guys worked hard for 12 hours straight to make sure both units were completed that day. I was very happy with their pricing and service. I have already recommended them to people I know in need of HVAC service. Pros: Pricing, options, promptness, service. Cons: 3% surcharge for credit cards"

"We put a contract on a house knowing that the heat pump and air handler were old (~14 years) - our home inspector took one look inside the unit and immediately turned it off as the inner coils were caked in filth.  He snapped photos and we could not tell if it was dirt or mold so we requested a mold inspection be done at the buyer's expense.  I purchased the deal to have the testers come out, take samples, and let us know what they find.  They were punctual, professional, and polite.  As the were working, they had a camera and video monitor for us to look inside the system and were able to confirm that what we were looking at was just years of built up dirt and dust (from never having the HVAC system professionally cleaned).  They took samples anyway and are going to get a report back to us.  The "deal" seemed expensive to me but the money was well worth the peace of mind before I move my family in.  We will probably recontact this company to get the ducts cleaned prior to moving in.
