I really appreciated Joe’s willingness to hop on the phone with me whenever I had questions about the estimate or the work being done. He was very patient and never overbearing. The work was done correctly and quickly. The price was competitive compared to other quotes I received. I even had to call Joe a year after the work had been done to pick his brain about an attic renovation that might have had some impact on the HVAC system. Even though the question wasn’t going to lead to any more business for Polar Bear, Joe took the time to answer my questions about the potential impact of the renovation on the HVAC system. "McCrea replaced a 20 year old HVAC system with a new Trane 4-ton XL16i condenser, XV80 furnace and new coils. The salesman, Mark, was very responsive to my request for quote changes or additional items, including financing options. He was very knowledgeable and patient through the entire process as I worked with other companies for competing quotes. As a result of Mark’s recommendations and excellent pricing, I added on a new Aprilaire 1210 filter box (including replacing a portion of the return duct work/box) and an Aprilaire 600M whole house humidifier. I was able to schedule install four days after signing the contract. The installers, Charles and Christian, arrived on time and removed the old and installed the new in about 7 hours. They provided an overview of system operation and cleaned up so well, you couldn’t tell that a significant installation had occurred. I would recommend McCrea, especially Mark, Charles, and Christian to anyone...they were professional and did an excellent job. My home is so much more comfortable with a system that will be better on the summer and winter utility bills."

Three of the four estimators made a good impression but the one who impressed me the most was David Lux of Michael Bonsby. He spent the most time, provided the most information, and fully answered all of my questions in all of my contacts with him prior to signing the contract. Even after I signed the contract, had the system installed, and made final payment, David Lux was still very prompt in answering my inquiries. So far I am very happy with the air conditioning system installed by and I would highly recommend the Michael Bonsby Company if you ever need to replace your air conditioning system."

"I have been a customer for a very long time and this scheduled maintenance and dryer vent cleaning was done by Cesar. I have to say he is one very thorough technician and I was very pleased with his inspection and vent cleaning. His service was so different than some of the ones I've had before. I even had one inspector tell me he didn't need to check in my attic which houses one of our two units. Let me tell you about Cesar, he even cleaned up behind my dryer for me. This is something that is rare in customer service. I have my HVAC seasonally maintenanced and never had a inspector be as thorough as him. The pictures he took and explained to me and the one problem he found that no other inspector had found in all this time. I tried to spare him from the attic heat for the repair and have him return on another day in the morning but he didn't mind going back in there to fix the problem for us although it was in the dead heat of the day. I just hope the company sees this review and knows what a good technician they have in Cesar."
