"Tri State was promptāthey had a tech out within hours when our 20-year-old HVAC broke down. The repair estimate was $800ā$1,200, and they also sent a salesman, Mike, to discuss replacement. Mike was courteous and knowledgeable, but, when we sat down to review the quote, the sales process turned into a bad car-buying experience. They started at $34,000, then "discounted" to $29,300ā$10,000 -$12,000 higher than other quotes for the exact same unit. Even factoring in their warranty, they remained $8,000ā$10,000 overpriced. Mike also claimed they were a four-generation family-owned business, but I later found out theyāre owned by Sila Services, a Goldman Sachs private equity firmāwhich feels misleading. To their credit, canceling was easy (though I hadnāt signed a financing agreement or put money down). Bottom line: Get multiple quotes. Their pricing was excessive, and the sales tactics felt manipulative."

He went over a few issues on our older unit he found during his inspection. I never felt pressured to have the work done and so glad he resolved them on the same day. He definitely went out of his way doing a great job. He explained everything to me that he was doing and also answering all the questions I had. The price was reasonable. Not only was our home and its contents treated as if they lived here, the job was done professionally. So much so, that the only issue we had was when the switch/outlet face plate screws came loose. I didnāt even bother calling Larry, I tightened them myself. The lighting is on, literally 24 hours per day since the install, with zero issues. Love these guys."
