He sent a text with the time of his arrival. He was pleasant and on time. He went into my crawlspace and inspected the crack in the wall and stated I had nothing to worry about. He was very knowledgeable about the foundation and itâ  s structure. He explain to me how I could fix the superficial settling crack and save a bunch of money. "Gentleman representing the company showed up as scheduled.  He took a look at the basement, took some measurements, completed some documentation which ultimately didn't help us out.  Situation:  Moisture is coming in through the walls due to poor soil/soil drainage outside the house.  Unfortunately, this company doesn't do regrading, landscaping, or fix drainage problems causing the problem to begin with.  They recommend a product on the concept that your walls are coming in and you need to fix the symptom.  Perhaps, the concept works for folks, but the estimate didn't help in my case.

"The walls of the outside stairwell are beautiful, even though it's cinder block! An additional layer of cinder block was suggested so that water doesn't go into the stairwell. Drainage and a reservoir was added to move the water away from the stairwell. We will see once a long, hard rain comes if the basement will flood. The folks at Outdoor Advantage were very nice and knowledgeable!"
