Earlier in the summer I had made arrangements for a couple of guys to do my deck in September. They had done a neighbors deck last year and a few months ago gave me an estimate which I was very happy with. Well September came and one of the guys was unable to work, so I had to start all over again. At this point in time I just wanted to get this done so it was off to Angie's List. One thing I do like about Angi is if you want to get a bunch of estimates quickly you can. Within moments of submitting my request the emails, texts, and phone calls starting coming, and that's what I wanted. Looked at all the companies who responded and got about 4 estimates within the week. This is how I met Blue Crab. This was a partial deck replacement(floor and railing), so overall a pretty small job in which no one was getting rich over. Zack and Nick came out we talked for awhile and I liked them. They gave me a price, not the cheapest, but on the lower end of my quotes and not to mention covering the fascia board on the front and sides of the deck. So even though they weren't my lowest price it was the best deal. Out of all my quotes these guys wanted my business more then the other guys, so I gave them a check and they said about 30 days till they got to me. Well 30 days have passed and my deck is done, and I have to say it looks so good I'm thinking about using it!! I sit right on top of I83 so not quite the serene experience you would like. Two guys completed the project in 2 days as promised. I can tell you they were both very hard working and skilled. The guy I spoke with was named Juan, and a couple of times he asked what I thought of the work they had done. This can be a very dangerous question in the Home Improvement industry, but I loved they cared enough about me and took pride in their work. Overall a really great experience and I can not recommend Blue Crab more highly.

We hired this company for a second time this year to do major work on the concrete outside our home. We had our front porch, steps and patio redone: old concrete demolished and removed, new concrete installed, with new stucco on the foundation, and white vinyl railings installed. The finished work exceeds our expectations. For other home owners, I would recommend them. Zachary and Nick are genuinely nice. They oversaw the project and there was good communication throughout. They paid attention to my concerns, and had good ideas about the concrete dimensions and railing placement. The crew did an outstanding job, were respectful, and did a thorough job of yard cleanup. Shoutout to Juan for keeping me informed about progress every day - thank you. I am pleased to support this local business and recommend for concrete work.

The work was done in a timely fashion as promised. I absolutely love the deck it turned out more beautiful than I expected. I decided that I needed a railing put in the front after the contract was signed and they went out of their way to make it happen. I also had cement work done that turned out great. Everyone from the salesman to the deck person and the cement people were very respectful and willing to make my requests happen. Blue Crab came out and talked with me, in detail, about the replacement deck. Once we accepted the offer, they provided an accurate timeline of when they would start the work. Blue Crab showed up on schedule, informed me of any delays due to materials and weather, and completed the work on time and with the quality I wanted. Blue Crab did new concrete work - new steps at side of house, front porch and steps, 2 walkways, and a 2 car parking pad. It looks great! The owners were good to work with, the price was the best when compared to others. The guys worked hard in the hot sun and did an excellent job. I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

I had a great experience working with Zach and the crew from Blue Crab Home Solutions. They took time to understand that I wanted to widen and replace my 40 year old driveway. Zach answered all of my questions. He provided me information that I needed to supply to my HOA and got the work done in a timely fashion at a great price. They worked with me to ensure my neighbors were not inconvenienced. They cleaned up every day at the end of the day, leaving the property in great shape. The concrete driveway work (demo of old driveway and new driveway install) was completed in a timely manner and professionally. Communication with the project manager was excellent. The construction teams paid attention to detail and left the work area very tidy. We are very pleased with the work product! We highly recommend them!

We had a large paver patio and fire pit installed. Nick and the team were constantly checking in and took great pride in their work. They went above and beyond their contract a did the job in a timely manner even after a harsh summer season. Nick in particular is a great salesman who takes the time to learn what you actually want a presents a well laid out contract for every option.
