"I highly recommend Newton Roofing Residential. In 2014, they replaced the entire roof on my home with high quality materials, in a safe and timely manner, and at a very competitive price. In 2020, I decided to address another need - my aging second floor porch, which serves as a roof to the first floor porch below. It was becoming increasingly unsafe due to wood rot, with a soft floor and loose railings. Given my positive customer experience in 2014, calling Newton Roofing in 2020 was an easy decision - I did not get quotes from any other company. Rich came out and provided a detailed explanation of the materials and labor needed to replace the porch and to install new railings that best match the style of my home, and he followed up with a very competitive quote for the project. Gus and Julio were the on-site team who completed the project and their work was exceptional. "Its the weekend before Christmas and the roof is leaking. The local home improvement company said it would take 30 days for repair. I searched for roof shingles on google and pop this company. They got my roof fixed in a week. It's so fast that they guarantee it."

"Initially they were responsive and got to the job quickly. They started one day later than their initial estimate and finished the job in a day and a half. The roof has gone through the Arthur downpour with no apparent leaks.
The cleanup wasn't perfect, as there were small pieces of old roofing and cellophane strips left on the ground. In a couple of places where the roof changed direction the shingles didn't conform fully to the shape leaving some gaps. Also, when they reflashed around the chimney they put the new flashing one course above the old flashing, rather than digging out the old flashing and inserting the new material in the same place.
When I called about the issues they were pleasant, but it took a few weeks for a representative to come out and review things, and then three more weeks for them to come to resolve the first two issues. The flashing is just the way they do things and is OK.

"I had FRS Roofers replace my rubber roof on my main roof and a back porch roof. I also had them realign the back porch roof to sit flush with the rest of the house. They also replace a lot of rotted wood, fascia and replaced the gutters. The team of roofers took three days to replace the roof and I couldn't be happier. They were professional, polite and cleaned up the work spaces and even left them better than they found it. During the three day period I has asked questions regarding the status and the site foreman got back to me right away. Everything was done as expected and I am very happy with my new roofs, I can now proceed to remodel the back porch."

"We got 3 roofing estimates. We made an appointment with the owner David Crasny. He showed up on time. He was the only one of the 3 roofers who got up on the roof (3 stories) to take pictures and evaluate. We received his estimate in 2 days as promised. It was detailed and thorough and gave us the option for a few extras (over fascia sealing & back porch). His price seems very fair. All roofers use GAF or equivalent shingles. He is trained and certified in GAF products. We were told by 2 roofers (we didn't ask him specifically) that we could have some shingle repairs done and can delay a new roof for 2 years. Based on his promptness and professionalism in person and in his estimate we will probably choose him when we do our new roof. We got a very low and very high estimate from other roofers. His was in the middle."
