"In January, Jeff came to service my boiler, which had been shutting off randomly and required several resets. He broke the bad news that the boiler would need to be replaced relatively soon, but understood my need to plan for it and was helpful in providing information without "mansplaining." He talked through options and answered questions. When I was ready, I didn't hesitate to go with Jeff and crew for the replacement job. The quote was fair and I trusted him and his team to do right by me for such a big investment in my home. The system that was installed is practically a work of art! They even tucked the new water heater around the corner from the original spot, creating more space in the main walkway area of the basement. They were communicative, prompt and cleaned up after themselves. It's been 3 months and the new system seems to be working beautifully. "Genove has serviced the heating system in my home for many years. I am comfortable leaving the door open for their service people or going off to work after they arrive. Over the years, this company has been very responsive in responding to break downs of my older equipment.
For the new installation, the service manager steered me toward a more expensive unit that offered greater energy efficiency. The burner has performed exactly as described. My old burner came on several times a day to heat water, the new one only comes on once every day or two.
The installation went smoothly and was finished within the two-day window I was told to expect. The crew cleaned up after themselves. I was particularly concerned about my cats getting out but  the service manager told me they hadn't lost any cats so far and mine did not get out.

"Zach Brown initially came to fix leaking water situation and then realized there was damage due to water seepage. After that damage is repaired, Zach will return to put plumbing back in order, including replacing faucets which had to be cut out to allow removal of granite countertop, reconnect water lines and possibly reinstall a new Reverse Osmosis system since the old one had to be removed. Can't say enough about Zach -- his professionalism, his explanation of what's being done and options for replacing/improving plumbing under kitchen sink, pipes, etc."
