Family Roofing & Painting

I have been a Family customer for over 20 years, having used both painting and roofing services. They have always provided excellent service. I recently had my roof replaced and I found the crew to be skilled, organized and efficient. Jim is honest, stands behind his work and provides competitive pricing.

Roof was leaking, needed new plywood on front of house, back was fine. Called Family Roofers the owner came within a day went over what to be done and gave an excellent price. We had gotten other estimates. Decided to go with them. Was told it would be a few weeks, which we understood. Then they called almost 2 weeks sooner than we expected. Came early in morning, got working immediately, workers were very pleasant, they were able to do the entire roof in one day. Then they did a great job cleaning up. Highly recommend Family Roofing!

Roof shingles blew off my house last month in a wicked wind storm. We didn't know who to call and research on Google directs to marketing masters who say they are the best. Asked around and finally got a person who actually had a great experience with a roofing company called Family Roofing and Painting. We called Family roofing and the owner James Debreceni came out to look at the job and quote it for the half roof that had been badly damaged. He would provide Grace Ice and Water shield, Rino Shield, Cobra Snow country ridge vent, strip entire roof flash all the edges, and install GAF architectural shingles for a price which was less than we expected. Jim said he would show up with all his guys and the place would be all cleaned up at the end of the job. We instantly said "deal" to his quote. Then we thought about his company doing our entire roof over since his quality of workmanship was referred by a trusted source and his price was very good. We asked for a second quote for the entire house with the stand alone garage. Very acceptable pricing for roofing job that few companies want to actually do the work. Well they showed up on the day promised with a small army of roofers and helpers. They ripped 35 square and reshingled everything with all the quality promised. The crew was fantastic with no complaining while enduring back breaking work in the heat of days. In 2 days all work completed as promised. One of the job foreman (Chris) even went well above the call of duty and replaced some difficult molding on the ridge. Thank you soooo much Jim and everyone who saved our butts in fixing this roof. Couldn't have picked anyone better to do this major hard work. We liked the results so much that now we are waiting on a painting quote for the entire building. John and Linda Q

Phone calls were returned in a timely manner. Work done quickly and professionally. Crew was relatively quiet (not loud & boisterous) and did a great job with clean up! Would definitely recommend them!

The job went extremely well. They showed up on time and finished the job quicker than I had thought they would. They were polite and left my property they way they found it. Did a fantastic job cleaning up. The owner Jim gave me a quote of $2400 and didn't require payment until the job was completed. When they finished I gave the foreman a check for the $2400. The owner then came by my house and refunded me $400 because the job went smoother than expected. I was in shock! Never have I hired a contractor that returned money.

Jim promptly returned my call and came by and looked at the problem. A few days later his crew came by and did the necessary repairs replacing damaged shingles and repairing the chimney flashing.They seemed very competent and I would certainly recommend them.

I emailed Jim from Family Roof & Painting with a request for a quote on my roof damage. He quickly called me and scheduled to look at the damage, and came out the next morning. After assessing the damage, he offered up a great quote, and a fast repair time. I of coarse agreed to terms immediately. :) His guys were out the very next day to patch up my roof. Jim's workers were very professional and did the work swiftly and effortlessly. I mention this, cuz it take some skill to scale a roof 3 stories up on an old Queen Anne. They did a great job, and even went extra steps to match my shingles correctly to make the repair unnoticeable. Thank You!!!

Jim responded right away to my call. Our roof was leaking and after looking at it, Jim determined that the flanges were rotted and needed to be replaced. It was a relief to know we did not need to replace the roof. Jim was very professional and honest. He had his crew come over that same day to fix it.

Showed up on time. Completed the work fast and professionally. Kept me updated on what was being done. Clean up was fast and precisely what was promised. Absolutely nothing negative to write about. Recommend to anyone who needs roof work to call them if they want it done right. Very happy.

Jim's crew showed up early on a Monday morning and had the job completed by the following day. I would use him again in the future as well as recommend him to anyone who was looking to have a new roof put on. His crew were polite and friendly. They took the time to make sure everything was cleaned up at the end of the day, I just can't say enough good things about Jim himself and his crew, great job guys!!!

Jim is very polite and professional.....he and his team did a great job...they completely removed the old roof and installed new singles on my gambrell roof and installed a  smaller rubber roof....the team was very polite and they completed the job in one day and cleaned up all the debris...I have not even found a nail!!
I liked Jim immediately,  before he entered my home he wiped his feet!!

Jim was Very responsive - he called when he said he would and showed up when he said he would.  He provided a free estimateand finished the work a day or two after we agreed on the price.  I am very impressed by his work ethic and will definitely use Jim and his team again!

They are very thorough. They really love painting. They scrape well. The house hadn't been painted for 10 years so it had a lot of peeling. They did a very good job. There were people that were more and people that were less. They were right in the middle. The price was good for the quality of work. The quality was superb. I would absolutely use them again.

Work was performed efficiently/expertly by a six man crew in less than 1 1/2 days as projected.work site was left as found w/o debris or nails left behind.   There was a small amount damage done to an end cap at rear the house on the deck which quikly and rpoperly repaired.   I highly recommend  this company to any who needs a roof replaced.
