"We were very pleased with the work that the Genove technicians did. They removed our 40-year-old gas boiler and associated water heater and replaced it with a new system. They tested the new system carefully, put explanatory tags on all of the relevant pipes and faucets, and cleaned up well. The team members were polite and worked hard. We had similarly good experiences when Genove technicians came to repair our central AC system. They were knowledgeable and efficient, got the system going again, and the price was fair. "We could not have been more pleased. We needed to replace our first floor AC, which is a split-type ductless system, about 17 years old. We had an idea of what the cost would be from an online site: [*** Link removed ***] We got 4 bids, 3 from A rated Angie's List contractors to install a Mitsubishi system (top of the line). Except for one, which was off the charts, the bids weren't that far apart. While Unique was not the lowest bid, we chose them for three reasons: (1) Jason (their rep) was the most savvy about the Mass Save and Mass CEC Air Source rebates, which were quite significant (he handled all the rebate paperwork for us); (2) Unique was able to do the job in a week; and (3) Unique included all the electric work into the total bid (rewiring was required). The installation team (John and Quinn) was excellent. It took them a day and half, They were quiet, neat, professional, highly respectful of our homes and proud of their work. We had worried that they would have to remove wooden ductwork which had been recently painted, but they managed to snake the new hoses through the existing ductwork without disturbing anything. Unique had an electrical contractor on site who replaced the breakers on our electrical panel, installed a higher capacity wire from the panel to the AC system, and replaced the cutoff switch on the outside. We were quite pleased with Unique's work, and would definitely recommend them to others."

"It was quite a surprise to find black mold growing in our mini-split heat-pump/ac units over the weekend! The situation was quite dire with the system emitting a bad smell and the fact that I have asthma and mold allergies which posed a serious health risk! After being told by the company that originally installed the system, “We don’t provide deep cleaning service for these units, try looking on Angie’s List (boo on Sila!)” I landed here. While other companies did respond to my bid, Atlantic Heating and Air Conditioning was the most responsive and was able to send out a team on one day’s notice (the wait for other service providers was up to three weeks!). The tech team, Josh and Zack, arrived on time and called me 1/2 before arrival as promised. They were very respectful, kept a clean work space and (since we are in the middle of a pandemic) wore masks and were very careful about the usual COVID protocols. The four units in our home are now SPARKLING CLEAN! We are 110% pleased with this job!! We will hire Atlantic as need be in the future for our heating and cooling needs. I have given up on the company that originally installed the units and will post a truthful review about them in an appropriate space online. I would definitely recommend Atlantic to family and friends. (photos attached to this review show one of the units before cleaning - did not think to take after pictures. Suffice it to say, no more mold:)"

He completed the job in about for 3 hours which is exactly the time frame I expected. He left my home in the condition in which found, no mess. He even swept my garage and the mess was all mine!! "We chose Pro Heating & Cooling to do an oil to High Efficiency gas boiler conversion. Sean provided a clear and concise quote for the the full job, including a challenging removal of our oil tank. We needed the job done ASAP and Sean was able to accommodate our request and complete the full job in a day. His crews were prompt, and seamlessly coordinated to convert our combo forced hot water and air system while creating a much tidier and well laid out integration with the new boiler and indirect water heater. After the instillation Sean checked in and came to do minor adjustments to ensure the system was dialed in to run perfectly. Lastly, the pricing was great, and the instillation was designed to maximize the available Mass Save rebates for energy efficient systems.
