Coan oil installed our ac in October. We highly recommend them for any heating and air conditioning service. We have used coan for over 40 years and couldn't be happier with their service. They are competitive in their pricing. Their service department is fantastic. Whenever we have had a heating or ac problem they have come out quickly to fix the issue.

I have nothing but positive things to say about the work and effort put in yesterday. They were on time, well-prepared, courteous and adapted well to “unexpected” challenges. Unexpected because it appears that they were aware that they would be responsible for moving the freezer to a different room and would be somewhat constrained by the shelf directly above the tank. They made it work and still completed the job in less than 4 hours. Great work.

Towards the end of March, we did not need oil, but Coan made a late delivery anyway. We had enough oil in our tank to last through the remaining cold days, but we received a delivery that cost us an incredible $1083. We did not need it, and we did not want it. We would have never accepted delivery if we had been informed of the price. We would have rather frozen than have paid such an exorbitant price for oil. I know prices are high, but when the cost of oil jumps up to ridiculous levels, a courtesy call would have been appreciated. That way we could have refused delivery. However, now we are stuck with an inordinate oil bill for oil we did not need or want, and we are very upset and unhappy with Coan. We have been customers for over fifty years and never expected to be taken advantage of this way. Sincerely, Peter Allen

Oil delivery has been without problems; it is automatic and I don't need to think about it. Maintenance is professionally done. There is typically a long wait to schedule annual maintenance which pushes off the date substantially each year. On the other hand, if there is a problem, they have been very responsive.

It went well. I was just disappointed that coil failed so shortly after system was serviced. I question whether a more proactive inspection/review at service time would have detected the coil failure.

It went well. My tank never ran out, nor was it filled too soon. The people who maintain the furnace are pleasant and professional. The few times I have called for emergency service, someone was there within a reasonable time to deal with the problem.

I recently had Coan Oil replaced my entire heating/ hot water system. I wanted to express how extremely satisfied I was with not only the price, but quality + NEATNESS of the installation (perfectly soldered every connection!! No shortcuts). Installation was done by professional and courteous technicians, and right on schedule. I am an electrical contractor with 30+ years in trades, and know exactly what quality and pride in workmanship looks like.
