"Signed contract on May 8 for deck build.On May 12 rep came to my office to collect deposit of apprx $13,000. He said project team meeting on Wed & would update me then on start date etc. On Fri May 16 I had to reach out to him. He wrote the team had met & materials were ordered. An hour later he wrote back that he was misinformed & that his boss was going to call me next week. Despite this, dep check cashed. On Mon 5. 20 rep wrote back that they had forgotten certain costs & to proceed it would be $8,000 more. Not a typo. $8,000 more. No apology. Ridiculous, contract rescinded. I wrote that he could return my deposit at my office just as he had collected it. On Wednesday the 21st I got a text from "Tom," presumably the owner/boss, saying he would "drop a check in the mail" to my address. Today is May 30th, Friday, and still no check. Check at a minimum should have been overnighted. They owe me interest not to mention the deposit to hire a contractor who will honor contract. Bad."

"Pedro and his team were excellent. They were professional and timely, hard-working and meticulous, and trustworthy. Best of all (at least for me), is that Pedro is VERY responsive and his team is assigned to get your job done and done correctly. They show up on time every day, and were willing to work late into the evening to hit the project milestones. Pedro was 100% clear about the costs, and he made sure I fully understood the areas where the costs were not known or where the costs could possibly change. For example, he said, "If you open up this wall, I'm not sure what we are going to find." I told him to proceed and his team opened up that wall and found that the previous contractor had installed literally zero insulation. Pedro met with me, reviewed what his team had found, went over all of our options, gave me his recommendation, and only proceeded when I completely approved the additional work that would be done and the additional cost entailed. Pedro is a true partner and his team does great work. I cannot recommend them enough. My wife and I have already booked them for another job renovating a first floor porch and creating a roof over the open-air second floor porch."

"I hired Nilton and his company Pro Touch Construction to help completely demolish and renovate my 2BD 2BA 900 sq ft condo when I originally purchased it. The project included: - Complete demo of each room - Kitchen expansion and remodeling - Appliance installation (dishwasher, sink, stove, etc) - Complete remodeling of both bathrooms - Converting a stand up shower in one of the bathrooms to a walk-in shower - Brand new electrical and plumbing work (including installing in-wall speakers throughout the condo) - Install new vinyl flooring - Repainting the entire unit - Etc One of the things that stood out the most for me with Nilton is that he took the time to meet with me (several times) at the condo when I first purchased it. I had spent time designing each room with an interior designer using Pinterest photo albums and other inspiration I had found. But I also had a very fixed budget which not only did he make work but he consulted me on things I should consider to save costs (including going with vinyl flooring vs hardware floors). As shown in the photos, Nilton and his crew completed the project to absolute perfect. I was absolutely blown away with how beautiful my condo looked after he finished the job. And it's been 4 years and I still get compliments to this day from everyone who comes by to visit! Also, some of Nilton's suggestions (e.g. vinyl floors vs hardware floors), helped me save thousands of dollars in the long run. "Costs increased about 10% over estimate, work was well done and the final product was professional and well-built. Communication could have been better, the builder promised weekly meetings but that didn't happen. All in all, we were happy at the end of it all, and all questions were answered and all finishes to our satisfaction, which if you've ever worked with a contractor before, you know isn't a given. 5/5 would work with them again, the fireplace mantel and threshhold was particularly well done."
