"I disagree with you and the JUDGE disagreed with you. It was the constant changes in the design and the products that caused the delay."
Thank you Brad for giving us our basement back!
After the work was completed the work site was cleaned up and left in the same condition as before they began the job. I'm very happy with the work and would use the firm again without hesitation.
explained to him my vision and budget and he offered up solutions to meet my needs.
He kept me updated regularly on the project status and stayed within the timeline initially laid out. When time came for decisions to be made he was excellent at describing the various options and what cost implications/savings would be for each one. I really felt like I had control of the project from the beginning.
One thing that stood out particularly for me during this project was when we had an unforeseen issue with a leaking roof. While I was scrambling to get call backs from roofers, Brad went the extra mile to make some calls for me and coordinated the entire roof repair that was needed. Between work, family, and this other project it was nice to get that help.
The final cost was slightly over the estimate, but it was not a surprise as we stayed in communication on this type of stuff.
I couldn?t be happier with the work that was performed and the room looks amazing!
Fantastic. Brad arrived as promised, took measurements listened to laundry list of things we wanted to do and made some excellent suggestions that went into the final layout.
They arrived as scheduled and gutted the entire basement - walls, floors, ceilings - it looked like a bomb went off in the basement. They removed all the debris and began the rebuild. The removal of the columns and replacing the original beam with a new LVL beam took a few days and was probably the most neve wracking part of the project, but it went smoothly and now even the floors upstairs feel more solid. They had to dig up some of the foundation to relocate a drain for our new, larger shower which also went without a hitch. We live in a raised ranch so the stairs leading to the basement ended in a 6 x 6 room with a door to the left and right - useless space. Brad cut back the walls and removed the doors, now you come down to an almost open floor plan. much more open and bright.
After paint, carpet and the installation of our entertainment system it was discovered that the A/V people had missed installing an optical plug for the surround sound. Because of the location of the TV over the fireplace Brad had to cut away a section of shelf and wall to allow the missing cable to be snaked into place. When it was, he returned and repaired the cuts he made and touched up the paint - you'd never know it wasn't original. While here to make that repair he added some brackets to the glass shelves that my wife and I bought (they were starting to sag a little) and noticed that one of the doors he installed didn't close just right so he made a small adjustment to that as well.
He has a great eye for detail and takes pride in his work. We're very glad to have found Brad and would recommend him without reservation. As I said earlier - we plan to use him again to remodel our kitchen.
