" We met Thermal Shield at the WSAZ Home & Garden Show in March 2025 about enclosing our porch. An estimate and contract was done on April 10, 2025. That contract stated that the project would be completed in 20 weeks. That date would have been August 30, 2025. The work has not started and no materials have been delivered. I paid a deposit of $11,000 (eleven thousand dollars). After several weeks of hearing nothing, I contacted the company and the owner. The response was text messages. I finally contacted the owner and stated that the work order had expired weeks ago and with no contact from them and no start on our project, I wanted a refund of the $11,000 deposit. I informed him that I would allow 30 days for the refund and if it was not received by November 1, 2025 that I would proceed with other action. There has been no communication. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. There was a deadline for installing this part before tenants arrive. They did not care, would not m"
