"Very well. It took two visits to determine the extent of the work. I am hoping all this work does the trick and our drains work more properly. We were experiencing slow draining in the two kitchen sinks. The building is old, 131 years old, and has the original stack. The technician said that our catch basin and sewer line are in good shape. It took some time to clear the stack. There is some concern that the stack might need replacing in the future."

This year we finally decided to do something about the settling in the addition and again hired Permaseal to install piers around the foundation (interior and exterior). "We highly recommend US Waterproofing. Unfortunately, after repeated issues (we’ve had water getting through a basement door, water backing up from drain/sewer pipe, foundation cracks – all which were addressed) we now have had issues with hydrostatic water pressure delivering a great deal of water to our finished basement. Only one solution – drain tiles and sump pump installation. US Waterproofing was outstanding, every step of the way. They communicated clearly what was needed, and much to our surprise, what was not. They did not ever try to sell us anything that was not needed – only what was – installation of drain tile, window well drains, sump pump, and all work related. All of the crews involved were outstanding – in particular, the crews installing the drain tile and sump pump. The supervisor clearly and concisely explained every step – and when issues arose, they were dealt with promptly. The teams removing drywall and reinstalling also did very good work, and were very responsive. Everything was done correctly, and on schedule The work is now complete – and the basement is back to normal. I commend USW on all facets – they explained everything, did not try to oversell anything, and were responsive to issues as they arose.
