Unfortunately, sometimes quote requests can be misinterpreted when using the Angi text messaging app. Your project request to install a new faucet on the side of the house, was interpreted to mean a replacement of outdoor spigot, which does indeed cost $325. When the plumber met and spoke with you, he discovered you were actually requesting a whole new system which would include installing 20 ft of new piping, drilling into concrete, and a considerable amount of more time and labor involved, the price needed to be updated to reflect that additional time, parts, and labor. We understand that you no longer wished to have your project completed at this time. On the bright side, you did receive a free estimate for your plumbing project!
