When our central air stopped working, we called Sal/Heating and Cooling Pros to evaluate the situation. At the time, Sal pinpointed 2 possible issues: (1) that our AC unit was low on freon and (2) that our blower motor needed to be replaced [our AC is probably 13 years old]. We accepted his offer to refill the freon and then Sal was going to check on a replacement blower motor and then get back to us. We touched base the next day and he said it could take anywhere from a week to 2 weeks to get the replacement but in the meantime, he would look into substitute options. Over the next few days, and after a few attempts to reach Sal, we decided to call another company (Sal never returned my calls). The new company discovered that our issue was not the blower motor but a wiring issue that had surprisingly cropped up within our thermostat. Unfortunately, Sal never looked further into our thermostat or he might have found this issue as well. Ultimately, we were quite dissatisfied with Heating and Cooling Pros particularly due to them ghosting us and would not feel comfortable recommending them.
