"This project was completed Summer of 2020 after the worst flooding our basement had ever seen. Thankfully, we haven't had the chance to test the new pit and drain tile until today, so I wanted to finally leave a review! "The plumbing on the lower level of my place went haywire a couple of weeks ago and there was a smelly overflow of water coming out of the drain where my furnace and hot water heater drained condensation.  I called Charlie in a bit of a panic and left a message.  I waited a couple of hours and called back, and he picked up to let me know he was working on another job and would call me back.  Charlie called back around 9:30pm and told me that the issue is most likely related to my sump pump.  I told Charlie I had to leave for work at a certain time the next day so he said he could come over in the morning.  In the meanwhile, he told me not to run any water on the lower level.  
When Charlie came over, he checked the electrical connection first, which was fine, and eventually found out that the sump pump had died.  So right away, he ran out to grab a new one and came back quickly to begin replacing the pump.  When he tested the new sump pump, it still didn't work, and he ended up finding a clog in the pipes.  He fixed that issue right away.  Charlie finished right by the time I had to leave for work.  
Throughout the process, he took the time to explain what he was doing and gave me some tips along the way, which was much appreciated by this first time home buyer.  It was nice to experience someone so thorough and nice... Plus, Charlie gave me a good price on the services.  It's nice to know he's close by, too.  I'd give him a call again if I ran into any other plumbing issues.

"The main reason we will stop using Reliance’s services: we were promised boiler drains that we never got. Boiler drains do not need washers which is why we wanted them. The job took four days. July 6th we wasted a whole day waiting for service. We called Reliance immediately because we have used their plumbing services for years. We were very disappointed with their service. A plumber was scheduled to come and install two cut offs and replace faucet washers. This plumber promised us two premium quarter turn boiler drains for hot and cold water feeds (we never did get these boiler drains). He recommended replacing the faucet. The plumber did not have all the parts, so we scheduled him to come back July 5th. July 5th the plumber we had spoken to called in sick. Another plumber was assigned to the work. This plumber did not seem to know what the previous plumber had estimated for the job. We showed the new plumber the work order. He went to work. After he had changed the faucets and installed the cut offs, we asked about the quarter turn boiler drains. He said they could not find the parts locally and we did not need them anyway. He recommended replacing the old cement tub. The drain could no longer be hooked up to the old tub. We sheduled him to come back July 6th. We requested the boiler drains again. July 6th. The plumber was scheduled to come between noon and 2:00 pm. The office manager called to say that the plumber could not get there until 2:00-4:00pm. We understand that sometimes rescheduling happens. However, around 4:15 the office manager called again. He wanted to reschedule for Monday. We had been waiting all day and this was the third day. We wanted a plumber to come. The office manager said OK he would send someone. The plumber who was supposed to come called us and said it was too late to come. Could we schedule for Monday. We almost called another plumbing company at this point. We scheduled for early Monday morning. Monday July 9th The plumber came early Monday morning on time. He did not bring the boiler drains. This time he said the boiler drains were to unusual to install and we didnt need them. He redid some of the copper piping because he was installing a new tub. The copper piping has some unusual twists because the new tub was a different size from the concert tub. The plumbing job was professionally done, but it took four days. We paid for broiler drains we never got."

He and his assistant Alex unclogged our very stopped up kitchen sink drain, replaced a worn out wax ring to fix our leaking toilet, and found and fixed a leak in our toilet tank supply line as well, all in very good time. Daniel also provided good tips for how we could perform preventative maintenance on our kitchen sink drain line, and he showed me what part I would need to order to be able to remove and clean our faucet aerator to help restore proper water pressure.
