Ryco Landscaping

In 2020, we hired RYCO initially to address drainage and grading issues around the foundation of our house. We were getting water infiltration at the foundation line from improper grading. RYCO came up with a plan to install landscaping French drains, drain gutters away from the house and regrade to pitch away from the foundation. Since RYCO completed the work, we haven't had any water in the basement, even with last summer's intense rainfalls. Phase 2 of our project was just completed in May 2021 and involved demolishing an old patio and sidewalk, and installing new permeable pavers and planting beds. As a professional in the architecture and construction field, I can validate that the work done was professional, and beautiful. The permeable pavers were installed per manufacturer's recommendations, and the crew was was courteous, always on time, and willingly worked with design tweaks I incorporated along the way. They did a fantastic job and we can't wait to have them work on Phase 3, front yard paving and porch next year. Thanks Eduardo and Mimi!

The initial interaction was positive and the service resolved some issues with turf and bushes. As time went on, the supervision and pro-active approach has waned and the result is weeds in grass, crabgrass, weeds in planting beds, poorly trimmed shrubs and bushes, and an overall lack of detail.

My suggestion to you is not to use this company and instead seek alternative providers. The management has shifted its focus on increasing revenues and decreasing service....this is not a sustainable direction In an industry that depends on word-of-mouth advertising.

We needed to have the yard brought even with the driveway and sidewalk. The new driveway did not settle as much as expected and created a trip hazard due to the difference in height. Ryco presented us with a competitive price. They completed the work in a timely manner. They were punctual and professional, as well. They added topsoil, then seed, and a blanket to hold it all in place. The yard is now even with both the sidewalk and driveway, and the grass has grown in nicely. We were so pleased with the result, we hired them to do some lawn irrigation work as well.

We are a homeowner's association comprised of 64 units. We needed to have underground pop-up drains installed to redirect the downspouts. We asked Ryco for a bid to install these drains at two properties, and they responded promptly and with the best price. They came out when they said they would. They not only completed the work quickly, their employees even swept the sidewalks and drives. We have used other companies in the past, and we were unhappy with all of them. The other companies were either unresponsive, or did mediocre work and left a mess for the homeowner to clean up. We are very pleased with Ryco and have decided to use them for both our landscape and snow removal contracts.

My initial contact was through their website. They responded promptly, however it took longer than expected to receive the estimate. I believe the delay was caused by the unusually warm weather and the number of requests they received. They responded promptly to questions regarding the estimate. I confirmed the work I wanted done and they came out and completed it. The lawn looks good again.

Overall, I feel confident Ryco will take good care of my landscaping and snow removal needs.

EXCELLENT! Ryco was one of six companies we contacted for this project. They were extremely professional. Their landscape designer came to our house and collaborated on ideas with us. He did a design plan and met with us to review it and go over the pricing. The cost was right in the middle of the other proposals. They showed up when they were supposed to and always returned calls promptly. The project was completed on schedule and turned out even better than we expected. The crew was very polite and professional. I would highly recomment this company.

i haven't received a bill yet. They did a great job. I met the foreman and he is very nice. I was very impressed with his relationship with his crew.
