We first met Jerry on 2021 as he was referred to us by my stepdad. Our case on 2021 was clogged tub drain cause my sister dropped her razor and the blade fell on the drain. Jerry was able to fix the clog within 15-20minutes. Today, we had another problem for our vanity sink/tub drain after I poured bleach and left it standing for an hour. the vanity sink is draining back up to our tub and ofcourse I called Jerry. He was able to fix it within 20minutes. He really did a good job with his line of work and I hope he will continue to provide service cause he will always be the first one I will call for any pipe/plumbing problems. Thank You So much Jerry!

I have a 6 flat apartment building.  One of the units had a leak in their shower from the faucet.  It needed a new cartridge.  Jerry/Matula plumbing called me promptly and scheduled to get out to the site and meet with the tenant.  He was able to fix the problem right away.

It was one of the coldest nights with wind chills way below zero. We smelled gas, called the gas company and they said we had a leak and had to shut off the gas. We freaked because with the plunging temperatures and it being 6 pm, how would we find someone that would save us from our pipes freezing.
We turned to Angie's List and we were saved by Matula Plumbing. Within an hour, in this dreadful cold, he came out, solved the problem, turned the gas back on and all is well.

Matula Plumbing was outstanding - the cost was more than reasonable given the amount of work involved and other quotes we received. He should up promptly, explained to us everything he was doing, and ensured that the work space was clean at the end of the day.
End result is that we have decent plumbing in our basement and our new kitchen sink works wonderfully.

Jerry was prompt and professional. He made sure the area was clean after he was done and laid down covers to be sure he did not track anything through my finished basement. He showed me how to operate my new back up system and how to test regularly.

After a second experience trying to get in touch with a highly-recommended plumber, I turned to Angie's List and found the high recommendations for Jerry. I called his office, and he returned my call within 10 minutes. We scheduled an appointment, and he actually called an hour before just to say he'd be a little bit late.
He arrived within 15 minutes of the original appointment, looked over the problems I had with a stopped drain and some damaged pipes. In seemingly no time, I heard the sink running and the drain actually draining. There was absolutely no mess because he protected the area thoroughly, and he double- and triple checked for leaks before declaring the job done. He did leave a bowl under the area that had been leaking, but 3 hours later, it's still dry as a bone.
Needless to say, the previously-recommended plumber's name has been deleted in my address book. I never thought I'd get overly-enthusastic about a plumber, but Jerry's work and professionalism were absolutely wonderful!

Jerry (and his helper Jason) are amazing. They were meticulous about keeping the area clean and even though it was late, they never rushed. Jerry explained each step as he did it - I felt that he had a lot of pride in his work. They checked and rechecked to make sure the problem was solved. Even though they spent more time than the original estimate, there was no additional charge. I would feel confident recommending him to my best friendand hellip;in fact, I did!

The work went well. He was timely, neat and informative about the new sump pump system that I wanted a quote on.

He was very accommodating as far as timing and scheduling, very responsive. He is reasonably priced. The guy who came out was great. He was very professional. He came highly recommended and I could see why. He was reasonable, friendly and on time. Everything worked out well. I had little bit problem with the toilet and I have called him once. He came back to check it out. I may need to call him again. I think it's a defect in the toilet and I don't think it has anything to do with his installation. It's very minor but annoying. He is really great about coming by and checking out. He came to my house and tried to rout the toilet; but it didn't work. He told he can take out the toilet to investigate further, but since there is a labor cost to do so, he would recommend replacing the toilet since it was old and hadn't worked well for quite some time. He took care of that for me. We talked about different types and he recommended a very high end type. I was not willing to spend that much and asked for something less expensive. He ordered one on a Monday and he was back here on Tuesday to install it. I was very happy with it. It was $370 for both visits including toilet and installation. It was very reasonable.
