Price was lower medium compared to other contractors. They provided suggestions on alternative methods for repair and showed pricing and outcomes.
Work was completed within two weeks of my acceptance of the bid (glass had to be ordered.)
Supervisors were out to inspect the work as it was completed and after, and called me to make sure I was pleased.
About the greenhouse windows ? the seals had broken on some windows. Other contractors only recommended replacing the windows (approx $10,000 estimates.) Ultimate also gave me the alternative to repair the windows for $900.00 and guaranteed the repairs for 5 years.
The workmen were courteous, friendly, put plastic shields on their shoes when entering the house (I did not ask them to do this) and the work was completed within two weeks (glass needed to be ordered.)

"I waited quite a while to do a review because with a sliding balcony door, you want to see how it holds up through the seasons and if there are problems, you want to see if those get resolved. First, there were no problems whatsoever over the past year that weâ ve had the new door. It slides beautifully, never sticks, seals well to keep out the cold (or keep in the cold in the case of AC). The glass has held up well, no mottling, and we got super strong screening on the screen section because of a squirrel / dog issue. The screening has also held up. We continue to be pleased with the door. At the time it was installed, it was done well. We were told exactly what to expect in terms of the wait for when it would arrive and our expectations were managed well. Everyone was friendly and professional and all has stood up. "Called to school appt for estimate and within 2 days had owner out for estimate. I looked at 3 other companies and was slightly concerned that Best Windows was so much less. But decided to go with them and I am quite happy I did. I was told windows would be ready in 4 to 5 weeks (I had a large customize size window that 2 companies could not meet my requirements). 4 1/2 weeks later got a call for installation and we agreed 2 install was for 3 days after the call. They replaced all 8 windows and one sliding glass door in one day. And there was a lot of dry rot and frame damage they needed to work on. They did a great job. They explained why we had so much air leakage with our old sliding glass door (no insulation a around it at all and it was just places on concrete slab with no buffer so lots of air coming in that way). They clean up inside and outside very well. You couldn't tell they were here other than the lovely new windows. Several neighbors have since asked me who I used since they like the job done on my place. I have no qualms about recommending Best Windows to them."

Hard water stains are caused by hard water. Hard water contains a lot of minerals, like calcium and magnesium. When water on your glass surfaces dries out, the minerals stay behind and stick to the glass. This results in a residue that looks like white cloudy or streaky spots. Call a pro to install a water softener to banish hard water problems.
Generally, large bathroom mirrors that have been secured to the wall with glue require a multistep removal process. By taping the mirror with masking tape or duct tape, you can potentially prevent dangerous shards from falling as you loosen the mirror. A heat gun or other heat source may be needed to loosen up the glue before it can be freed using a wire saw. With glued-down mirrors being the most dangerous to remove, it's wise to hire a professional instead of handling glass on your own.
This happens when condensation forms due to your room temperature being lower than its dew point. You can clean the glass with a combination of baking soda, vinegar, and warm water to wipe away the fog from the doors.
For small cracks, glass-bonding glue that can be pressed into cracks may be able to save a broken mirror. If a corner of a mirror has been chipped, you may be able to conceal the fact by adding a border or frame to the mirror. You don’t want to put anything on top of your mirror when you move it. You also want to limit the possibility that something heavy will fall on the glass and shatter it. For this reason, it’s not a good idea to lay a mirror flat in the moving truck.
