State Farm called and told us that they were not going to pay the balance of the claim, because the company did not use it as approved. The general manager of Bob the Builder, Inc. did make it right and apologized profusely and we do not have to pay the balance of the claim. Tom Burk, however, should be selling encyclopedias instead. First of all every other company we received quotes from wanted to tear off our roof, which would have raised the project price by almost 200%. David analyzed our situation and told us that since we only had one layer of old roof that was covered by a few thousand pounds of gravel, he would be able to reroof over the existing roof.
