"Timely response. Laid out an installation plan that made sense, used some existing infrastructure that would prevent additional cost and overall cost estimate was well within reason. Work effort is ongoing due to adverse weather and trenching requirements. ( I have an electrical/electronics background and degree. I am to old to do the work myself)."

"What a great guy. Works fast came to the house did the measurements figured out what type of lighting would be best got us right in to get my wifeâ s dream kitchen completed. Lighting more than satisfies my expectations. Wife loves the lights and the way he wired everything up you canâ t see the wires or brightness of lights from across the room. Even while seated from our dinning area. Highly recommend Daniel owner and professional electrician of Resurrection Electric. The name of the Company also tells you this guy loves Jesus. Hire Resurrection Electric you wonâ t regret it!"

"The ladies at the office were courteous and professional. Jennifer sent a picture of the person who would be coming to my home; Brad Johnson a Senior Service Technician! I only needed an inspection of my old furnace that was making a strange noise and taking a long time to kick on. He checked it thoroughly, reassured me that it was working, and vacuumed it out. He took the time to answer all my questions; he was friendly. The quirks of the furnace were just 'the nature of the beast,' (my add.). I found a company who's people that I can trust! It was worth every bit of money I paid. They all earned it! Thank you."

"Diagnosed the issue as electrical. Will need to get electrician in to see where the problem is between the fuse box and the dishwasher."

Electrical questions, answered by experts

Homes in Post Falls with crawl spaces prone to dampness, concrete slab foundations, or log and timber construction can present unique challenges for electrical projects. Split-level layouts and finished basements may restrict access for new wiring. If your property is near water or built on clay soil, extra care with grounding and moisture barriers is important to ensure safe, long-lasting electrical work.

Helpful?

The success and longevity of electrical work in Post Falls rely on using weather-resistant materials, proper grounding for local soil conditions, and careful moisture control due to frequent rain and snow. Ensuring all wiring meets city and state code is crucial. Hiring experienced electricians who understand local temperature swings and installing components rated for the region’s climate will help prevent premature wear and electrical issues.

Helpful?

To enhance safety for children and pets in your Post Falls home, install tamper-resistant outlets and arc-fault circuit interrupters in bedrooms and living areas. Placing outlets higher in kids’ rooms, securing electrical panels, and using cord covers help prevent accidents. For outdoor spaces, consider buried wiring to deter pets from digging and add motion-sensor lighting for safer movement during long winter evenings.

Helpful?

Regular maintenance in Post Falls includes monthly testing of GFCI outlets, inspecting outdoor wiring before winter, and checking for moisture in basements or crawl spaces each spring. Annual professional inspections are wise for homes over 20 years old. Keep service panels accessible and clear of snow, replace surge protectors after storms, and maintain a log of all electrical work and inspections for future reference.

Helpful?

In Post Falls, service panels in older homes—especially those from the 1970s and 1980s—often require upgrades to handle modern electrical demands. GFCI outlets in kitchens, bathrooms, and outdoor areas are vulnerable to moisture-related wear. Outdoor circuits, attic wiring, and basement or crawl space connections may need attention, especially after harsh winters or if your home has outdated aluminum or knob-and-tube wiring.
