"Adam and his crew beautifully removed a colossal old pine that was posing structural danger. They also took out some old diseased trees along our driveway. Both projects began when scheduled, were completed on time and clean up was lovely. I won’t hesitate to contact Tree Brothers for future tree services!"

"Excellent service. Price was fair, work crew was prompt and professional. Removed large 5 trees and a couple of them were leaning badly, it was a lot of work. Very pleased with the care they took to avoid damaging the yard and other trees in the work area."

"I recently had a couple of trees removed from my backyard by Rivers Edge Tree Removal Services, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. They were extremely punctual, showed up exactly when they said they would, and got the job done efficiently. What really stood out to me was their honesty and professionalism. They explained everything clearly, didn’t try to upsell unnecessary work, and made sure the cleanup was thorough before leaving. If you’re looking for a reliable and trustworthy tree removal company, I would highly recommend them."

"Joshua and his team were exceptional. This is the first review I have ever done, but with the quality work that was just done at my home, I really wanted to let people know about my experience with them. When Joshua came out to look at the job I told him what I wanted and he gave me advice on how to best accomplish that. Once I booked their services, they followed up several days in advance to confirm the day would still work for me. They arrived and Joshua first confirmed the scope of the work with me and then they got right to work. They had to do a lot of trimming on several large trees and remove one completely in a very limited amount of space and then haul everything to the front. They removed another tree and some juniper bushes in front along with trimming up some other bushes. They made sure to cut the stumps to the ground so I can mow over them without issue. Joshua was very thoughtful about trimming my curly willow so the dead growth is gone, but I still have a sight and sound barrier between me and the business behind me. And the tree looks beautiful! They cleaned up all the debris. The sawdust and newly trimmed trees are pretty much the only signs they were out here. Joshua and his team were a pleasure to work with. Friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I highly recommend them and will be using them again when I have a need."

"I had a tree that was pressing on the neighbors fence and wanted to have it taken down. E & K Services LLC came out looked at the tree and gave me an estimate. I had other tree Services come.and estimate the tree project as well. The tree was not accessible by bucket to remove, E & K came up with a plan and I felt confident the tree could come down safely. E & K were timely and got the job done efficiently and safely, I would highly recommend them for tree trimming, removal, and stump grinding!"

Small jobs welcome

"It has been a long time since I went into a home project with minimum expectations and was thoroughly impressed beyond any of my possible expectations. I wanted 4 big trees removed. Tyler pointed out there were other trees that definitely needed to be removed. He didn't hesitate, he did much of his own work, but also had appropriate staff and equipment when needed. He is very knowledgeable, efficient and definitely hard working. Even my neighbor hired him to remove a very large leaning pine tree. I would highly recommend Tree Me Kindly."

FAQs for tree service projects in Post Falls, ID

Budget over $1,500 if you need a tree removed from your yard that’s larger than 80 feet. Large tree removal is a significant project that requires a crane, and the overall price will increase if the tree is close to your house. Typically, smaller trees can cost as low as $8 per foot to remove, while larger trees (over 80 feet) can cost at least $15 per foot.

To have a fallen tree removed near your home, you can expect to pay between $100 to $500. Your local tree removal professional will most likely just need to cut and remove the tree from your property, but factors like the size of the tree and its trunk diameter impact this cost. In addition, there will be an extra cost to fill in the hole left by the tree, and while you have your tree removal specialist on-site, it might be worth it to have them inspect the other trees in your yard for potential damage. Trees that have fallen onto your home or another structure, will likely be more costly to remove

On average, removing a tree costs around $750, but you can expect to pay between $200 to $2,000. Factors that impact the overall cost include the number of trees you’re having removed, their height, the diameter of their trunks, permits needed, and the tree’s accessibility. You’ll pay more if the tree is in a hard-to-reach area or dangerous location, like close to power lines.

  1. If there are no online reviews, ask them for referrals. If a tree removal company is reputable, you won't be their first client. It's perfectly acceptable to ask for references on your initial call, and if a removal company won't provide referrals, it's time to move on.

  2. Find out what equipment they use. Some types of tree removal equipment are better than others, and a removal company might need special tools to get your particular job done. On your first conversation with a prospective removal company, make sure that you clearly express the nature of the job you want accomplished and receive assurances that the company has the proper equipment.

  3. Consider all of the costs. Always ask for an estimate up-front. Inquire about the job itself and any potential hidden fees that you might not be aware of.

Yes, you will want to confirm that the tree removal company you hire is insured before proceeding with the job. Tree removal can be dangerous work, and it's important to verify that the company carries the proper insurance to cover any onsite accidents or damage.
