"We contacted Time with Louis Electric on a Saturday when my elderly parents well went out. They have horses and other livestock and it was very important we got them up and running. It was determined that the wiring to the pumphouse was bad. Tim was on a job Saturday but agreed to come out Sunday. He quoted us a very reasonable price and came earlier than expected, after calling to make sure that worked for us. He was able to find the problem in a mess of wires running from a pole to the pumphouse and shop and fix them. He went the extra mile and made sure that all the wires had good connectors, etc. He was extremely professional, did a great job and was extremely reasonable in his costs as well. I would recommend Louis Electric anytime for electrical work. Very nice guy and great service."

"I am actually a Residential Electrician and technically Nate & Ericâ s competition. However, I have known Nate for many years and used to work with him at a different company, before we opened up our own businesses. These guys are exceptional electricians, with skills, honor, integrity, and straightforward pricing. I recommended them to some of my pre-existing customers when my Schedule was overloaded. They did not disappoint. They went over and did an amazing job for my customers. Well, they are probably not my customers anymore. ð Thank You Nate & Eric for helping out a fellow electrician and working with such diligence to get the job done! Give GoBright a call for all your Residential Electrical needs, and theyâ ll treat you like family."

Electrical questions, answered by experts

For electrical projects in Spokane Valley, keep a digital multimeter, GFCI tester, and cold-weather-rated wire strippers handy. Stock up on wire nuts suitable for temperature swings, weatherproof outlet covers, and anti-corrosion spray for outdoor connections. A reliable headlamp and heavy-duty extension cords are also useful. These tools help address Spokane Valley’s variable climate and support safe, effective electrical maintenance year-round.

Helpful?

After finishing electrical work in Spokane Valley, schedule a required inspection and confirm utility reconnection if needed. Walk through the project with your contractor to verify all work, collect permits and inspection records, and update your home insurance if major upgrades were made. Set reminders for regular maintenance, such as testing GFCI outlets before winter, and file any warranty information for new installations.

Helpful?

In Spokane Valley, be cautious of quotes that are unusually low, request cash-only payment, or skip mention of necessary permits. Reliable professionals should reference Spokane Valley’s inspection process and show familiarity with local utility coordination. If a quote is vague or doesn’t address your home’s specific needs, ask for local references and confirm insurance coverage before proceeding to ensure your project is in good hands.

Helpful?

In Spokane Valley, electrical work can impact systems like HVAC units, well pumps, or security alarms if they share circuits or the main panel. Before starting a project, map out which circuits power essential systems and note any shared connections. If you’re upgrading your panel or adding circuits, coordinate with your contractor to avoid disruptions and ensure compliance with Spokane Valley’s local code requirements.

Helpful?

In Spokane Valley, overloading circuits with portable heaters, neglecting to cover outdoor outlets, or running extension cords under rugs can lead to premature wear. Skipping annual electrical panel checks, ignoring flickering lights, and using indoor-rated cords outside are common mistakes. Local issues like rodents in crawl spaces or tree branches touching service lines during windstorms can also damage your electrical system if left unchecked.
