"This company was constructing a complete residential landscaping plan for a new home. I watched them across my back fence for weeks. I have had years of experience with property ownership from construction to ownership and management. The detail and care taken by this crew from grading to rock placement to use of concrete in the final design are impressive. I have brought friends and neighbors in to observe the finished job. While completing the work for my neighbor, I hire the company to do a job for me. Very satisfied with Nick and the entire crew. I will hire this company in the future."

"We needed to repair our patio pergola due to some rot. We ended up replacing almost fifty percent of it. Shawn blended the new work into the existing structure seamlessly. Shawn was professional, true to his word and an all round great guy to work with!"

"I know Chris and his crew for over 5 years. We contracted them to do our kitchen remodeling in 2022 and several home renovation projects (including installing new windows at our home) in the last four years. They did excellent jobs on all occasions. Many contractors do good jobs but Chris’s greatest strength is that he listens to what the customer wants, finds the best options to fit the customer’s budget, and efficiently delivers the project in time with least hindrances. I am a strong supporter and advocate for local small businesses and Chris has never disappointed me. Furthermore, he is honest and reliable - during the kitchen remodeling, I left my house keys with him to come in and do the job while my family and I went away to McCall for an entire week. I strongly recommend IDAC."

"I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. The vinyl looks great too."

"Val did a great job with our home addition. He managed the project form start to finish. He pulled all the permits and had all of the subs lined up. We finished our project right before winter. I will definitely do more business with Greenbelt Homes Construction company."

Home Building questions, answered by experts

The most significant expense when building a barndominium is constructing the metal shell, which includes the roof, doors, and windows. Additional exterior components impacting the overall cost include metal siding and the concrete foundation.

Yes, such as using eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient designs for long-term savings.

Above all, the downside to building a new house is a longer timeline. You need several months to finish the build, depending on the supply chain and labor availability in the meantime. Building a home compared to buying one is also more expensive, both in the building process and when it comes to mortgage rates and property taxes.

Ranch and colonial-style homes are often the most affordable to build. They have a common layout with available designs that are easy to adjust in simple ways without having to spend too much on a structural engineer or architect. Both types of homes' symmetry, simple roofs, and often one or two-story plans mean they often fall in the $150 to $200 square-foot range, putting them right around average.

Modular homes are more affordable than stick-built homes if you keep quality and square footage equal. The cost to build a home averages $323,000, while average modular home prices sit at {AvgCost}. If you’re looking for custom or luxury options, a traditional custom home costs $825,000, while a high-end modular home costs $600,000, on average.
