"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. There was a deadline for installing this part before tenants arrive. They did not care, would not m"

2008 years of experience

Appliancezone.com is a leading on-line retailer of appliance parts and accessories for do-it-yourself homeowners. Incorporated in 2008, it was started by CEO, Jim Allen and his wife Paula, who operated an appliance repair business for nearly fourteen years prior to starting the internet company Appliance Zone.

"This is the first online review I've ever written -- my experience with this company was that bad. Three aspects that deserve attention: 1) I placed an order and tried to cancel six minutes later. Turns out they don't accept cancellations. 2) I couldn't find a phone number, so I had to work the return/refund by email. The exchange was painful -- so unhelpful I felt like I was interacting with a bad chatbot. 3) I ended up eating shipping costs (expected) and got hit for a 50% restocking fee (unexpected) because I refused the package instead of paying to ship it back. Didn't matter that it went to the correct address, was clearly labeled, and had prior return authorization. So I ended up with a $21 refund on a $60 order, and a lesson learned about where not to buy appliance parts."

Bob's has been serving the cleaning needs of Roswell and the north Atlanta metro area since 1982. We specialize in the sale of new vacuum cleaners and take great pride in matching you with the machine that will work best for your unique home cleaning needs. We carry only the products that we feel represent the very best of what is available in the country today. We don't have a huge selection, but what we have has high quality and is reliable. Our goal is to delight you and ensure that you are still delighted in 5 or even 10 years after your purchase. We base our decisions on what to offer for sale on the data that we gather as we repair vacuums. We often see the same brands and models in for repair with the same problems over and over again. This is where we can add some value for you in your vacuum selection process and assist you in performing your research into where best to spend your valuable dollars. We repair most makes and models of vacuum cleaners and carpet shampooers. We sell the ones that we rarely see for repair! We believe that this is why we've been able to be successful as a small business in a world where the "big box" stores have been dominating the marketplace with their high-volume, low price, no customer service strategies. We are an authorized warranty repair station for Eureka, Electrolux, Royal, Dirt Devil, Hoover, Panasonic, Beam, Kirby, Dust Care, Bissell, Dys0n and Miele. Our skilled technicians can handle the repair of any make or model of vacuum. We also carry the widest selection of vacuum cleaner bags, filters and belts in the North Fulton area. If we don't stock it, we'll order it!

"Sewell Appliance has been the worst experience I have ever had working with a company. They do not communicate with their customers. I understand the difficulties imposed by the pandemic, but they take your money and do not deliver the product you paid for nor do they communicate about the delays nor expectations as to when you might receive the product. I will warn you to avoid this company."

"Tom and Bo are fabulous! They installed my oven and cooktop and had to do extensive cabinet work and electrical to get the appliances to fit and did it seamlessly. They worked hard all day and only took a 15 minute lunch break in their truck. They creatively found solutions to fit the appliances in. The oven and cooktop look GREAT! They are also very pleasant to work with! Pricing was very competitive."

Appliance Sales questions, answered by experts

No, you should not run two refrigerators on the same circuit as it is likely to overload the circuit and cause the breaker to trip or worse—cause an electrical fire. Each standard-size refrigerator should be on a dedicated 20-amp circuit. You should never plug a refrigerator into an extension cord or power strip as it can cause serious safety hazards. Refrigerators have built-in surge protection that safeguards them from the damage of power surges.

Air fryers circulate hot air throughout the cooking cavity, removing surface moisture from food to create a crispy exterior. This is meant to simulate the texture of deep-fried food without all the calories and health implications of eating food cooked in hot oil. Conventional (non-convection) ovens use heating elements on the top and bottom of the cooking cavity to heat and cook food.

Yes, electric-start snow blowers need to be plugged in to start, but you can unplug them and go once they’re up and running. Simply plug the snow blower into an outdoor outlet and press the start button. Once it starts, you can unplug it and use it freely. The idea for these types of snow blowers is to simplify the starting process from the typical pull-string starts.

Yes, you can recycle a small appliance. In some cases, a small appliance is one of the easiest to recycle because it’s  easy to transport and is in high demand for use as scrap metal. The most common recyclable items include toasters, slow cookers, lamps and lighting, microwaves, and food processors. Charitable organizations, scrap yards and utility companies are good places to recycle your small appliance.

While refinishing your appliances can make them look fresh, you may prefer to keep their original coatings as long as possible. The best way to maintain your appliances’ appearance is to keep them clean. You can do this by:

  • Wiping up messes and spills on appliances as soon as possible.

  • Avoid using harsh cleaners or abrasive cleaning tools.

  • Handling objects with care near appliances to avoid scratching or denting them.
