They were unable to identify or correct the humidity problem (which we discovered they caused) and so hired a forensic investigation which demonstrated that the static pressure testing was far outside of the manufacturer’s specs due to numerous issues including faulty installation. We called and then sent them a list of all of their errors and never received a response. They have shown themselves to be not only incompetent and negligent but demonstrate a callous disregard for their customers.

I called on Monday and spoke with Justin, asking about a first time inspection on my tankless water heater. He said the guy that works on it is out but would be back in about 20 minutes. He could take my name and number and he would call me back. It is now Friday and I haven't heard a peep from them. I don't know who dropped the ball, but communication is critical in a business and customers should not have to keep chasing after you to get you to respond. If you say you're going to call, then call.

Both Chris from plumbing and Alfred from HVAC were helpful and professional. However the company is not at all helpful. We had them out and they replaced our hot water heater for $3,500 and the plumber told us we should have our condensation pump on the AC needed replacing, but that was a different department. The next day the technician came to change the pump. He was going to charge another $99 service charge on top of $325 for the $80 pump. We called to have the $99 fee waived as we would be spending nearly $4000 with them in less than 24 hours and they refused. This is not a company that cares about its customers!

Run and hide from them. Terrible customer service and they lie about pricing. Had a person come out this morning, gave me a quote of $309 and said someone else will come to fix. The next person quotas $150 more. I said “this is what I was told” and he replied “he made a mistake and nothing I can do” supervisor then called me and told me a lie straight to my face. Do not trust this company

I received a quote for installing a dedicated circuit for a printer. 25 ft. One receptacle. One breaker. Easy access. The quote was $837. That is about $100 in materials. And I estimate that it would take the two people they sent, about an hour to install. So that is $350 per hour labor, give or take. The electrician had no defense of the extreme estimate, other than that's what his book said. I declined.

After providing a 4 hour arrival window, it took them over 5 hours before they were able to give me an arrival time. My time is more valuable that waiting around all day for a plumber to show up. They should be more considerate and proactive to take care of customers.

The R.S. Andrews technicians were prompt contacting me shortly after the agreed to window of time. They were courteous and safe in that they wore protective masks. They put on shoe coverings without my asking and promptly had me walk them through the issues they were there to address. After pointing out the issues, the Senior technician outlined the charges related to their work. $49 for the home visit, $259 for up to 1 hour of investigative/troubleshooting work and then if anything needed to be installed/replaced/repaired he would quote me for the price for that specific work and I would have to agree before they proceeded. They completed the investigation/troubleshooting within 20 minutes where they got the shower enclosure light working and determined the ceiling fan remote would need replacing at an additional charge. I had purchased a new remote device just in case and had them install it. The installation went flawlessly and the fan/light function perfectly. The only negative I have is on my part that I did not ask the scheduler when I called what the rate structure was like. I specifically chose to go with RS Andrews because their visit fee of $49 was much lower than another company I had considered. But, I didn't know how their investigation fee compared. I would hire them for the promptness, courtesy and quality of work. But, I would call a few other Electrical Service companies to compare the investigative fee to see if it is comparable or too high. Seemed pretty high to me, but I truly have no comparison.

If A+ was an option, I'd give them that. Josh worked for hours diagnosing the problem, didn't leave until he knew what was broken and had gotten the part ordered. He got everything set up so I would have AC until the part came in and he could come repair everything, which was only 2 days later. I really could not be happier with the responsiveness and proactivity of everyone at the company. They have a customer for life.

I have used RS Andrews for 20 or so years, and never had a problem with their employees until now. Whenever I have scheduled a regular furnace/AC maintenance appointment or other service, I have always directed the tech to the place in my house for them to work, then left them alone. In the last couple of years, they have stolen a bottle of liquor, metal box typically used for valuables, and a watch from me. I am not sure if I will continue to use them when my annual service agreement is up. They normally do good work, but I am concerned about the type of employee they are hiring and sending out on appointments. So if you use them, be sure and stay close to their employees when they are in your house so they know you are watching them. And if you are a woman, it might make sense to have another person in the house with you.

RS Andrews was very responsive and quick with the appointment scheduling process. The plumber was extremely knowledgeable and worked for several hours in the basement to fix my old sump pump and move the water shut off valve to a location I could actually reach. He was wonderful to work with and even impressed my mother who was watching over the project for me (and she’s a tough critic!).

The salesman was a nice guy but I ended up going with another team for less who covered all lighting and outlet's, edged the entire roof , installed measurement rulers (to verify insulation depth) all across the ceiling, brought the whole house up to R38.

Outrageously high prices. $439! He also quoted me $400 to replace 1 fan! I have 5 fans to replace and would have hired him had he not cheated me in the first place. WOULD NOT HIRE AGAIN!
