"I have never in my entire life had to write a review like the one I am about to write right now. To begin with we had a concrete slab laid at the beginning of Aug. and all we needed was for it to be leveled. We reached out to Aquaguard and Bill set up a date and time to come out and do an evaluation and a quote. Bill stated that they could level the concrete slab with no problems and gave us a quote of an est. 6k. I know that no one in their right mind would pay 6k for a job that was guaranteed by one of their SHAREHOLDERS (Bill) knowing that there was no guarantee it could be done (which is what their stating now.) We had a deadline to have this job completed which couldn’t be met because it is now Oct. and still ongoing. Jerrod and another employee came out on 2 separate occasions and all we have received from this service is UNLEVELED concrete and EXCESSIVE CRACKS AND WAVES. Weeks later 2 managers came out and could clearly see my disappointment because I was literally in TEARS. They said that some jobs they can’t get leveled completely and that they don’t know why Bill would tell us they could and that that’s stated in their contract. He said he would reach out to the general manager to come to a resolution because at this point my concrete slab is just horrific and still not LEVELED by the least. Literally worst than when they started the work. Week later no resolution. I suffer with congested heart failure which I was diagnosed with last Nov.2024 and this is really beginning to take a toll on me. All I want is a DECENT resolution because this is clearly not the service I was expecting to receive and is clearly unacceptable."

"Was sold on having my chimney propped up because it was leaning. Salesmen were confident in the one day turnaround and strong warranty the company could offer after drilling down then inserting metal rods to stop the chimney movement. Workers arrived 7 hours later than scheduled and were polite and apologetic. After two hours of digging I was informed there was a problem. The man in charge assured me he would meet with his engineer, keep me updated, and have a plan to finish the job the next day. I never heard from them again. The workers showed up the next day (I saw on my RING), filled in the holes and left. 4 days later I received an automated email saying my CC deposit was returned. Absolutely ZERO contact or follow up by the company. Shameful. Do NOT use this company under ANY circumstances"

"I had an excellent experience with One Stop Restoration in remediating flood damage to my finished basement and restoring it to its original condition. From start to finish, I felt I was in caring and experienced hands – it was clear that everyone engaged on my project was passionate about fairness, timeliness, quality, and superior customer service. They came to assess the situation the same day that I discovered the issue and called them, and within three days furniture and other contents had been evaluated and moved out and the remediation work was completed (special thanks to Leigh and Brody for making that happen). One Stop’s fast action preserved my belongings and mitigated the water damage to the furthest extent possible. When the time came for the restoration work to begin, I decided to continue with One Stop and am very glad that I did, as the end result is beautiful and exactly as I had desired. The crews and various contractors that One Stop employed were seasoned craftspeople who arrived on time, did efficient and excellent work, and maintained a clean worksite. Omer, the owner, made himself accessible whenever needed – he was incredibly responsive to questions and requests and helpful in explaining the process so I knew what to expect. And Nir, who managed my restoration project, was incredible – I couldn’t have asked for a better partner in navigating that process. A true pleasure to work with, he took care to listen to and understand my needs and concerns and did his utmost to deliver the highest quality service in as timely and cost conscious a manner as possible. Collectively, the team at One Stop made a very difficult situation as stress-free as possible. I have seen them refer to themselves online as “saviors in your time of need,” and I can certainly attest to that in my case. As the result of my experience, I trust and recommend them highly. While I hope that I don’t have a property damage situation like this again, if I do they will be my first call!"

"We have worked with Ark Restoration after we had water damage at our basement. As they did excellent job on the mitigation and damage cleaning work, we wanted to continue working with them on the construction repair as well. However, our experience was completely different. First we have not received the estimate for almost 10 days. Then we were assigned a project manager who we saw once or twice. We noticed that every day there were different people working on things. As we noticed that they were not having any uniforms we realized that they were subcontractors or even subcontractors of the subcontractors. We did not receive any updates on the progress or when the work would be finished. With my frustration of the progress and how dirty the subcontractors are working, I got in touch with the manager of the repairs department. He was also not kind in our conversation and said why I do worry as the contract we have gives them 30 days for the repairs, no rush would be needed. Project manager was not actively communicating and did not really give me any impression that he cares at all. After the work was done I did not even get a call if we were happy with the experience, or walk through if the work was done for our satisfaction, but rather received multiple reminders to make the last installment payment. After all the trouble, at least they finished the work, arranged cleaning for all areas, and put the furnitures back to their places. As conclusion, I highly recommend to find another company to work for your repairs. Ark Restoration is definitely good for mitigation and damage clean up but stay away from them for repairs and construction work."

"Well I contacted Rob about a house I was looking to buy and renovate. He met with me, was super nice, took down everything I wanted to do, etc. I then paid him $150 for a proposal. That’s where the problems started. Although he set the deadline himself, I kept hearing ‘tomorrow, tomorrow’ when I would ask for an update. Finally got it back. It was a pretty vague list of things and rough prices attached (ex. just “floors - $X” - not “hardwood in middle bedroom,” “tile in the kitchen,” and so on) and a shoddy drawing of a layout with hardly any detail and certainly not drawn to scale. Maybe my expectations were off there. But I want a little more than that before I go take out a loan and hire you to do a $100K job, amirite? But whatever, whatever - put that aside. It comes down to when I’m going to have to make a decision, need to get him approved by my bank... POOF. GONE. Radio silence. Won’t answer calls. Won’t answer texts. Won’t answer emails. I said he could just let me know if he didn’t want to take this on, etc. Just nothing. Strange way to run a business. Especially when the job you want people to hire you for is usually time sensitive and requires excellent communication. Honestly, I hope he’s okay and if I hear otherwise, I’ll consider removing this. But without more information, I wanted to give an honest review and give folks a heads up that this could happen again."
