"DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY We chose Jack Rabbit based on a recommendation from a friend, expecting professionalism, transparency, and quality service. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of those expectations. At the time I was gathering quotes, my husband, a professional engineer was not home. He also wasn’t present during the installation. To ensure clarity, I had Jack Rabbit’s engineer/salesperson speak with him by phone. That conversation quickly turned tense, as the salesperson was dismissive and disrespectful toward my husband’s expertise. It was clear the salesperson was more concerned with defending his ego than engaging in an honest, informed discussion. With temperatures soaring and no AC for a few days, I made a rushed decision to move forward with Jack Rabbit, trusting that they would honor their agreement to match a competitor’s quote not just in price, but in equipment and specifications. That promise was a key reason I chose them. Sadly, what we received did not reflect that commitment. The AC unit installed was not the higher-end model we were led to expect, and the discrepancy only came to light after the fact. I left messages for upper management and the owner, hoping to discuss our disappointment and give the company an opportunity to acknowledge where things went wrong. To date, I have received no return call. That silence speaks volumes about their commitment to customer service and accountability. This experience has left us feeling misled and disappointed. What should have been a straightforward and respectful transaction turned into a frustrating ordeal marked by poor communication, broken promises, and a lack of integrity and money out the window. Now that we’ve paid thousands of dollars, to include a one-year service agreement, I find myself asking: do I even dare have them come back? Can I trust them to do right by us? Sadly, they already have our money, and based on this experience, I have little confidence they’ll stand behind their work. If you’re considering this company, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. Reputation means nothing without integrity, and based on my experience, Jack Rabbit does not stand behind their word or their work. Positive Note: The installer Dejour was excellent, so patient and understanding. So professional and took the time to explain things to me, when others from the company wouldn't clarify. I have used Vanguard in the past and was very happy with them, so I called and got an appointment for Monday and was OK being without water for a day or so. David (tech) texted me 30 min later and said he could come earlier on Monday which was great, and when I explained what was happening in more detail, he offered to come out right then, on a Saturday! I explained that I could wait until Monday, but he insisted, and was there in a hour, and had it fixed 45min later. Thank you David! And if you are looking for a plumber, don’t go anywhere else!"

I have used Vanguard in the past and was very happy with them, so I called and got an appointment for Monday and was OK being without water for a day or so. David (tech) texted me 30 min later and said he could come earlier on Monday which was great, and when I explained what was happening in more detail, he offered to come out right then, on a Saturday! I explained that I could wait until Monday, but he insisted, and was there in a hour, and had it fixed 45min later. Thank you David! And if you are looking for a plumber, don’t go anywhere else!"

I take every inspection very seriously, as it is not just your biggest investment, it is also your home, and you need to feel safe and protected. Especially when children are in the home. Also, with a background in remodeling, I will take the time to answer any questions you may have about how to fix minor (or major) issues in the home if you prefer to DIY. Dan did charge me an extra fee for driving out of his area and I did not mind paying that fee plus more. His amazing reviews definitely was worth it. Dan showed up when expected and explained in detail what was found. I attached the pictures of Dans findings to my home warranty page and 95% of what he found was fixed by the home warranty company. If I wouldn't have hired Dan, I'm positive these things would have gone untouched as I would not have noticed them on my own. 13 of my interior doors had to be fixed. 13!!! I'd only noticed three of them. Thank you so much Dan. I'd hire again if needed."
