"Everything went terrific with Experience Tree Service right from the start. The work was tediously planned and executed, including the removal of two trees and the reshaping of two large oaks. Asbel and his brother, Ismael, used a major league bucket lift, large chipper, and stump-grinder, as well as other needed hand equipment, all of which they own. The crew was seasoned, exceptional workers, and the clean up at the end was perfect. I cannot say enough good things about Experience Tree Service, and highly recommend them."

"Dages tree service is the most professional company I have ever had the pleasure of working with. They came on time, did what they said they would, without any hassle and cleaned up every leaf and limb afterwards. Would recommend them to anyone who has trees to trim or remove. Thanks Joseph for a job well done!"

"We have hired 5 different tree companies in the past and by far Jack the owner of this company did the most amazing job. They removed 9 trees that were damaged from Milton last year and removed 8 huge piles of debri. They did everything that we had agreed on, in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. If you need any tree service give them a call first you won't regret it."

"Guyetts tree service was fairly priced but what I liked most was the customer service. They were very professional when they came out and worked diligently. My yard was left cleaner than it was. I am very happy with their work. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of tree service."

"Mr. Ryan and his crew were very professional. They did a great job cutting and grinding two enormous trees, plus grinding an oak tree stump that was product of Hurricane Milton. They respect your time and property. His prices are super fair and competitive. Mr. Ryan is an honest business owner. He won't take advantage of you. I am very happy to recommend him. Thank you again for the great service!"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

It may be possible, but transplanting a large, mature tree can be a tricky project, and some trees handle it better than others. If you have a tree you need to save and are considering transplanting it elsewhere, we highly suggest calling a tree removal service and arranging a consultation to see what they say (and how much a full transplant would cost).

Cutting down a tree next to power lines is never a DIY job, and it’s a good idea to contact your utility company first. In most cases, the utility company will need to take care of any tree problems within 10 to 15 feet of power lines. If you want to remove the tree for aesthetic reasons, hire a pro to do the job. Trying to cut trees near power lines yourself can create many safety hazards, and you could be liable if you inadvertently cause damage to electrical equipment.

It depends on the type of tree. Typically, late spring on the cusp of winter is ideal for trees about to emerge from dormancy and produce new buds. That said, late fall is ideal for certain deciduous trees prone to bleeding sap. Avoid trimming trees in early spring, when they’re prone to disease.

It is possible to cut down a tree on your property yourself, but it is generally not recommended unless specific conditions are met. You should only consider this project if the tree is small (e.g., under 4-5 inches in diameter and short enough that you don't need a ladder to reach the branches), and you are experienced in handling a chainsaw. The tree must also be located far from any power lines, fences, homes, or other structures. Even for small trees, the work can be dangerous, and it's always advisable to have a spotter to ensure the tree falls correctly and no branches fall on you.

For any tree that is large, requires a ladder to access, or is near electrical lines or structures, you should always hire a professional. Attempting to remove a large tree yourself is extremely dangerous, poses a risk of serious injury, and could result in significant damage to your property.

Before any tree removal, it's also important to check your local and state regulations to ensure the tree is not historic or otherwise protected by your city.

The lifespan of a bird's nest depends on the species. The building process can take from two days to three weeks. Once built, the nesting period for baby birds can last from two to ten weeks before they leave the nest. While most young birds are ready in two to six weeks, some predatory species may need up to two and a half months. Some species nest four to five times per year, so a nest could remain in use for several months. For specific information about a particular nest's longevity, it is best to consult a wildlife professional.
