Tom was prompt, courteous, professional and priced competitively. Without his thorough inspection and discovery of hidden water penetration, my wife and I would have unknowingly moved into a home that would have cost us thousands of dollars to repair. I will use him again and absolutely recommend him to friends and family who need a home inspection.

Punctual, efficient, thorough and very knowledgeable. I had specific questions with regard to a certain type of pipe used in plumbing, as the insurance company which I had contacted about insuring the home had advised that they would not write a policy on a home with either polybuteylene or pex pipe. Tom advised that polybuteylene was generally not used after '96. The home I am hoping to buy has copper, which was a relief to me.
I also inquired about hurricane clips, and a wind mitigation report for the roof. He explained and went into detail as to different roof styles (Hip , flat or and quot;otherand quot;) as classified by insurance companies.
His report was done at the end of the day, and emailed to me, along with a picture of a detail on the roof which would need repair.

"I am always happy to respond to comments, but in this case there really isn't enough information provided. We were completely blindsided by this review as we have never heard anything from this client indicating a problem. One of our inspectors completed a pre-purchase home inspection for them on a home they were buying 3-4 months ago as well as a quick walk through of the home they were living in. A couple of months later another inspector was hired by a different client to complete a pre-purchase home inspection on this client's home. Although we are not sure, it appears that this client was unhappy with that inspection, but once again, since we have had no contact, it is just speculation. Sellers can sometimes be unhappy with the results of a home inspection on their home if it requires them to spend more or renegotiate. If you are reading this negative comment and considering whether to use us, please give us a chance to explain our side in more detail than this individual did theirs. We can provide you with many references and positive comments if needed. Thank you Tom Rinicker"
