For example: I handed him 2 newel posts a 8 foot piece of base molding, an 8 foot 5" wide piece of MDF, some bead board, a side panel and a base kitchen cabinet... and he built a beautiful kitchen island. Bottom line- you give him the materials and the idea and he will bring it to life. On top of everything else, Karl is sincere, honest and shows up as promised. He is definitely the exception among your usual lot of South Florida contractors.

"Had a tricky window AC that needed a custom frame for install. Tom's work was excellent and my tenant has a nice cool bedroom. Would highly recommend Tom for any general handyman jobs around the house.

"Dan and Tony were great ! They were prompt and exceeded my expectations. They were knowledgeable and got right to work. Dan uncovered an underlying problem of a leaking roof causing the rotting of my fascia board which I was totally unaware of. He suggested that I repair the roof section that had rotted away before any repair was done to the fascia for obvious reasons. Dan installed temporary boards to keep any unwanted animals out and at the same time allowed the roofer easy access to inspect the damage by unscrewing the temporary boards with ease. They also redirected a dryer vent that was blowing onto the back of my AC compressor and mcGivered it so that it wasn't blowing any lint onto the compressor anymore. Lastly, they installed two electrical outlets in my garage. They did a great job in all aspects of my requests and I would highly recommend Dan to anyone who wans an A1 job for any of their projects.

"We bought a house and before we moved-in we hire them to clean the interior. Since the house was empty it was easy, mostly floors, windows, bathrooms and kitchen. No major issues, but we noticed that the blinds were not cleaned. Anyways for the price we paid, it was good."

"Whew! Thanks to Anthony and his stepson, we finally have our new microwave installed. I spoke with several other handymen, who were all stumped about how to deal with the light bar beneath our cabinets which stuck out so that you couldn't simply lift the old micro straight down, nor lift the new micro straight up in order to install it. These other handymen either bowed out of the project because they thought it would go badly, or they said they would saw off the edge of the light bar and then glue it back on after the install. Yikes! After also seeing the pictures that I sent him (which I'd sent the other prospective handymen, too), believed that he could simply remove the light bar in it's entirety and then put it back on after he installed the micro. Bingo! He also had to trim off some of the existing tile backsplash (because the new micro was a bit taller than the old one). After nearly 3 months, we finally had our new microwave installed, and our light bar (a piece of wood at the bottom of the cabinets) replaced without being damaged. Thank you, Anthony! A very small piece of the tile on the backsplash separated/broke during the trimming, but you can't see it much. We're still very happy just to have the micro in and with no damage to the light bar. It would have been nice if he'd mentioned that little problem with the tile, rather than having me notice it later. Still, all in all, a very good job and we are happy. He charged $150 for 2 hours (he and his stepson), which included replacing the microwave, fixing a loose towel bar, patching and spacking a hole underneath a light fixture, and some other small things. AND, he came out the very next day after I spoke with him to do these repairs - the Friday before Christmas! Definitely pleased."

"It was a pleasure working with Mr. Shapiro and his Staff. They were professional, reliable and to my surprise compassionate to my situation. After, my father had an accident in the tub, it became necessary to have the bathroom remodel to handicapped standards to prevent future accident. Mr. Shapiro was very compassionate in not only handling my fathers needs but also completing the job in a timely manner so that it will not inconvenience my father for too long. In less than 3 weeks the job was completed , just in time for my Dad to celebrate Christmas in his apartment. The work done was beautiful and although, there were minor setback Mr. Shapiro handle the situation in a responsible and professional manner.
