For example: I handed him 2 newel posts a 8 foot piece of base molding, an 8 foot 5" wide piece of MDF, some bead board, a side panel and a base kitchen cabinet... and he built a beautiful kitchen island. Bottom line- you give him the materials and the idea and he will bring it to life. On top of everything else, Karl is sincere, honest and shows up as promised. They do everything except tiling.  They charge extra for supplies and parts, of course, but only at-cost and provide a receipt. Dan redid the backsplash at no extra cost when he felt the job didn't go quite right.
