"The owner of the company came to my apt., diagnosed the problem quickly and installed what's called a float switch to make sure my a/c would shut off if the drain got clogged. He washed down the coil, cleared the drain, inspected the system thoroughly, checked refrigerant levels and changed the filter I provided. He was on-time, very personable and cleaned up when he was through. The price was very fair for the service I got. Definitely would call Holmes Cooling & Heating again!"

I contacted this company to get estimates for three different projects. We had met with two other professionals who had recommended that our A/C unit was replaced immediately. Weathershield gave us other options. They sent two guys to make an assessment and it turn out to be one the best experiences during my home remodeling project.

John and his partner completed a through assessment of my A/C unit and made recommendations based on what I was requesting. With his assessment and recommendations we were able to save money and still get work done. He explained to us that although our unit was dated it did not need immediate replacement. He recommended that we clean coils and gave us different options for the new vent. He sent additional information via email on AC units including an estimate for a new unit and  our very much needed ceiling insulation.

We decided to hire this company based on our experience with the John and the information he shared with us. Their prices were very reasonable prices when comparing them to the other two companies. They sent Jose and his partner for the new vent and they did a great job. The work was neatly done and the room cools like a the rest of the house. John came to clean our coils. He removed the entire unit and cleaned everything to perfection. Our A/C unit is working fine.

I highly recommend this company based on my experience with the quality of the work performed and most importantly their honesty. From their customer service staff to their technicians this company deserves an A.

"The folks at Allstate Cooling were excellent! They came out right away to look at our AC ducts in our tight attic. Gave us a competitive quote with pictures and diagrams. After we notified them that we wanted them to do the work they were able to schedule us within a reasonable amount of time. My only issue was some minor communication issues on timing to do the work, as we have children and would need to make sure someone was home to receive them. "Two guys came, unable to get a fitting to attach on the coil that was provided by the manufacturers box.  Third person came also unable to make fit.  Two guys left, third guy came back later when another unit was delivered and completed the job by himself.  Everyone did what they could and very professional and courteous, explained things and apologetic.  It seems to be a practice for initial visits that they call to advise the person is on their way which I greatly appreciate.  Very pleased overall with the service. Just initially thought they weren't prepared until I was advised later by family member that was out there with them, it was due to the manufacturer's "box" and not the workers "fault" at all.  Definitely will call on them again.
