I had a great experience with Holmes Cooling and Heating. From start to finish, Bart was professional, punctual, and courteous. He explained everything clearly and seemed very knowledgeable about the issue and how to fix it. The repair was done quickly, and my system has been running perfectly ever since. I really appreciate their honesty and attention to detail. It's definitely a company I’d recommend to anyone needing reliable AC service

Great service 10 stars I needed a service for my unit and I called Holmes cooling and heating and they got right back to me. Not only that they came same day and the owner personally serviced my unit he walked me through. He was extremely friendly and answered all my questions . I can't recommend them enough If you need cooling or heating repair or install Holmes is your best choice .

Excellent, the technician showed up on time explained my options gave me a choice of things that I could do to make the repair and explained exactly what the problem was, both professional and polite. Also one time.

Bart was very responsive, was able yo come out next day to repair my a/c, and solved the problem in 1 visit. It turned out to be a more complicated issue than either of us expected, but he stayed until the job was finished. He also showed me how to do preventative maintenance and as a new 1st time home owner, I really appreciate that.

Bart is a genuine nice guy who is honest, hard working, and very knowledgeable about anything and everything related to heating and cooling a home. He personally completed the work quickly and efficiently. He even followed up with us (several times) the day after the repairs to ensure everything was working well. Bart, sure knows AC! He was actually an old neighbor of mine and he installed all of the units in this neighborhood 20 some years ago. So, naturally, I went to him for help when I needed a new AC installed. This was a tricky install because the codes were different back then, with the lines being different sizes nowadays. He was able to give me the product I needed, properly installed and running smoothly! I would refer him to anyone who asked. He really knows his stuff!

Smart and honest, everyone else tried to upsell me a new system but he was honest and brilliant and fixed it like it needed to be done, providing great advice.

On time every time. Fair and reasonably priced. Showed me how to maintain my AC which kept it running for years! When I needed help he came by quickly and took the time to check everything over before leaving. I trust Holmes to care for my AC!

Bart Holmes was incredibly nice, and most importantly, honest. He told me that the issue was actually a very simple fix that I could do myself and taught me how to do it. He could have easily used my lack of knowledge against me but he did not and I am very grateful. If I ever have any serious issues with the HVAC, I will most certainly contact him.

Bart Holmes himself came to my home and thoroughly inspected my 18 year old air unit, found the problem an fixed it. Anyone else would have said to buy a new unit. Honesty and 40 years years experience is hard to find and this company has both. Thank you.

This isn't my first review of Holmes Cooling and Heating. I have always given Bart Holmes excellent reviews. I want to comment about how he goes the extra mile. I have my A/C unit replaced in Florida by Bart while I was at my home in Chicago. In spite of this being long distance, it went exceedingly well. Upon return to Florida I called Bart to ask if anything needed to be done. He scheduled a visit and went over the workings of the new machine and showed me how to flush the drainage pipes and clean them with bleach. He told me that the processes will make my unit last longer and likely will help avoid service visits in the future. Remarkably, he didn't charge me for the visit! Bart provides excellent service and stands by everything he does. He is always available and will spend time on the phone, if necessary, to walk you through minor fixes. I have used him for "years" and recommend him with no hesitation whatsoever!!

Bart has been my exclusive go-to expert for HVAC solutions for at least 5 yrs. There are many companies to choose from which tout specials & too-good-to-be-true deals, but I've found no one else has equalled Bart's responsiveness, knowledge, integrity, fairness in pricing & honesty. He really cares about his customers & giving them the best service & highest quality result possible. His easy going manner, sincerity & patience makes him very approachable to ask even most basic questions. He wants his customers to be informed about what's going on w their systems/products & explains stuff in simple to understand practical terms. Really pleasure to deal w when facing an awful problem like a/c that suddenly stopped cooling. He's great about helping troubleshoot over phone & doesn't try to sell you on unnecessary equipment. Mr. Holmes came out himself on a Sunday and did what he needed to do to get the A/C working for a very reasonable price. This is the 2nd residence he has done repair work on for us, and both experiences were excellent. I highly recommend Holmes A/C.

Bart is very professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He makes sure the job is done right and makes sure we understand important tips to keep our AC running smoothly. He’s also incredibly responsive. We called him and he responded in minutes and took care of our issue same day! So lucky for us since our AC broke on a hot summer day! Our A/C could not keep up with the warm Florida summer and was taking forever to cool down. Family was coming over to stay with us for a few days and needed to solve the problem immediately. After trying unsuccessfully to schedule an appointment with the company that services our unit (twice a year), I immediately started searching online for a company that could help us solve this predicament we were in and based on reviews on Angie’s list was lucky to stumble upon Holmes Cooling and Heating. I called on Wednesday July 8 at 6pm thinking that nobody would answer due to the time of day at was calling at. To my surprise Mr. Holmes himself answered and after discussing for a couple of minutes what the situation was, said he would visit next morning. At 8:30 am of Thursday he was calling me to tell me he would soon be over; after working on the inspection of the unit; soon we where discussing his diagnosis; we spent a good 40 minutes going over the issue and decided that we needed a new one. He proceeded to locate a unit with the specs we had reviewed and proceeded to install the next day. Installation was a breeze (4 .5 hours) and the installation team was incredibly courteous -at times you couldn’t even tell they were there. By 1:30pm on Friday July 10 the newly installed AC was cooling our home - just in time - family arrived at 2:30pm. After installation was completed Mr Holmes himself spent another hour checking out all aspects of the installation and explaining in detail how to follow simple steps that I could follow to extend the life of the unit. We were extremely lucky to find such a great company to work with and have gained our confidence to become our go to AC company from now on.
