"Fireplace Solutions sent two employees to service my electric fireplace on 11/4/25 . Reason, My electric fireplace kept clicking off. They arrived on time. Very nice and professional. They were at my home for a little over an hour. Service order states cleaned and serviced. Check list stated everything in working order. Paid $350.00. Few days after visit, fireplace started clicking off again. I called company. I was told by one of their senior employees , who had never even seen my fireplace, that I was going to need whole new insert which was going to cost over a thousand dollars or maybe even a new fireplace which would cause several thousand dollars. I was very upset that this was never told to me by the gentlemen who serviced my unit. I was told the employees are fairly new. (??). As if that is an excuse. I asked for my money back. Was told no because it was ? a service call?. Even though the ?service? was not provided. Fireplace not fixed. "

"Called Colorado Chimney Company in March, asked if they could replace chimney chase cover and was told yes. They came out to my house to look at the chimney, charged me for the inspection, claimed to have taken the chase cover measurements to get one made. After couple weeks with no feedback, I called and was told still working on it with the cover manufacturer. Before I decided to go with another company, I called one more time to leave a message, but never gotten back to me since. I do not mind if they were unable to get one made, but tell me instead of just completely ignoring me. I posted a review on Google Map and within an hour, Brian called to offer me a refund to delete the review. I would have been more than grateful to accept the money back before the review was posted. He even questioned if the review worth more than the money he was going to refund me. I think it is okay to hire them to do chimney inspection and this Brian guy seemed to do a good job, but not following through is a problem. My chimney chase was leaking and he was not dependable."
