About us
Founded in 1999 by Shawn Mehaffey, Mehaffey and Sons Restoration, is a locally owned and operated company. Mr. Mehaffey insists on the highest possible craftmanship and using only the best materials for each project. Shawn has over 25 years of experience in the roofing industry working in Boulder, Colorado. He has served 2 formal apprenticeships in masonry, one for historic masonry restoration and one for stonework. Our guiding principal is to treat each customer as if they were family or a friend and act accordingly. If we don't feel like we can do a job right then we won't take on the project.

Shawn was very easy to work with and understood what I needed. The workers arrived early and the job was completed quickly. They removed the bricks from my 17 foot planter and cleaned up the driveway. Shawn is very honest and knows how to run his business.

Shawn was the last quote we recieved, yet the most thorough, knowledgeable, pointed out things before I could mention, and willing to answer questions as well. We had the work completed in May for some brick install/window removal and brick tuckpointing repair/maintenance ahead of painting. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for knowledgeable brick layer.

Shawn and Gerardo were amazing. I got multiple quotes and they were by far the most reasonable. There work was outstanding. Shawn was communicative and sweet. And Gerardo was by far the hardest working young man I have met in a very long time. He worked his tail off, and cleaned up the mess perfectly. We chose Shawn to replace our roof because he is very customer friendly and knowledgeable about roofing and masonry work. He worked with us and our insurance company to get our roof replaced after a hail storm. We also needed brick work done on our chimney and Shawn did that for us as well. Exterior &interior tuck point/rebuild of two walls on 1896 home. Owner Shawn Mehaffey estimated the small job within hours of the call. He was clear about the job and discussed options,A written proposal matched the on the spot quote. A reference list was sent immediately on request and I booked the job for the next week, on the condition of checking references. Shawn arrived promptly, Worked continuously to complete the job quickly and fixed additional brick work not quoted. Price remained the same even though the job was more extensive then expected. I'm very pleased.
