The Original Mr. Cabinet Care is owned and operated by the Jaridly Family. Established in 1987, the father, Moe Jaridly, and his three sons, Sam, Sid and AJ, built what has become one of the largest and most trusted kitchen remodeling companies in Southern California. The Jaridly’s started in a modest 1,500 square foot shop in Santa Ana. In the years since, the Mr. Cabinet Care facilities have grown from 3,000 to 7,500 square feet before settling into their current 24,000 square foot factory in Anaheim, which they now own and occupy. The Original Mr. Cabinet Care has satisfied over 19,000 clients and has been voted the #1 Kitchen & Bath Remodeling Company. In addition, they are California’s only 13 Time Winner of the People’s Choice Award. To learn more, visit mrcabinetcare.com. We serve residents in Anaheim, Yorba Linda, Huntington Beach, Seal Beach, Irvine, Mission Viejo, and many other cities in Orange County, Los Angeles County, Riverside, San Bernardino County and North San Diego County.

"Having hosted the HGTV program “My House is Your House”, we’ve worked with and vetted many cabinet builders across San Diego and Southern California. I cannot understate enough how much of a mistake it was to choose Mr Cabinet Care for our kitchen cabinets on an Encinitas project. We are extremely disappointed with our experience with Mr Cabinet Care. We arranged & purchased custom cabinet drawer fronts that were supposed to be high-quality, but they arrived with noticeable gaps. the gaps were problematic for two reasons: 1. for the drawers / doors that closed incorrectly and 2. for being prone to collecting food debris (and unable to clean or remove that debris). When I contacted the company about this clear defect (the food /gap error), they completely dismissed my concerns, blaming “care and maintenance” instead of acknowledging the poor workmanship. Even worse, they provided doctored photos in an attempt to shift the blame, falsely suggesting that residue such as gum or putty had been left on the drawers. Not only was this completely untrue—no such residue existed in any of the photos we originally provided, nor in any additional photos we took. Falsifying evidence to avoid responsibility is not just dishonest; it’s unethical and gives us even greater concern over other claims they’ve made in workmanship or materials. The operations manager even said “The material you selected, White Oak Select, is naturally prone to expansion and contraction due to environmental factors such as heat and humidity. Upon reviewing the photos taken by the technician, it appears that the issues you are experiencing are likely related to care and maintenance, rather than any manufacturing defect.” These were installed weeks prior to our notice, not years later, and during a cool weather season. To claim extreme weather (like heat & humidity) in San diego is laughable and outrageous. Under California law, products like these are covered by warranties ensuring they are fit for their intended purpose. These drawer fronts clearly do not meet that standard, yet the company refused to honor its obligations. Instead of standing behind their product, they chose to manipulate the situation to avoid accountability. Beware if you work with them and have future warranty issues, youre going to likely run into similar defenses and accusations. I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with this company. If they are willing to misrepresent facts and dismiss valid concerns, I can only imagine how they handle other customer complaints. We regret this purchase for our client and would never recommend them to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship or honest customer service. We will not be using them for any future HGTV projects nor recommending them to other clients or customers"

FREE estimates and 10% off for Angi's List members! A.G.A Construction, Inc. is a licensed, bonded and insured, full-service construction company. We offer services in both residential and commercial remodeling including, but not limited to, new construction, room additions, kitchen and bathroom remodeling. Our mission at A.G.A Construction is to provide excellent customer satisfaction and top-quality work. We work hard to maintain high standards of exceptional customer service and superiority that has become expected of us over the years. Whatever your remodeling needs are, we take the necessary time to discuss with you the wide variety of options, products, styles, specification and your desired budget available in order to make your vision a reality. When working with our team you can be sure that your remodeling project will exceed your expectations. With any remodeling job, a project is only as good as its foundation. The same is true for our company, which is built on a foundation of trust and strong relationships with our clients. As our saying goes “When we are done, you will be happy, and until you are happy, we are not done.”

"We started the process of building our detached ADU at the beginning of 2022. We hired an Architect, who drew up a plan to build a 1200 sq ft, 3 bedroom 2.5 bathroom house. After 14 months of waiting and addressing revisions required by the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety we got our permit in “Ready to Issue” status. While waiting for city approval, we all started looking for a fair, reliable and honest contractor who would do good/solid construction. We started the process of interviewing contractors and getting bids for the job. After several meetings and several bids, we met Micky Kanian with “AGA Construction”. We found Micky on Yelp. One of his references took us thru an ADU that Micky and team built for his elderly mother-in-law to live in. This family could not say enough good things about Micky and team. They took us thru the property and explained their experience in great detail. We saw another beautiful AGA project, a 5k sq ft + project that was in progress and really knew that day that we’d found our contractor. We weren’t quite ready to pull the trigger for personal reasons, so we put the project on hold. Meanwhile, we continued to collect a couple of other bids that were already in progress. During this process, AGA kept in touch with us. They checked in every few weeks or so, without being pushy or intrusive. After a delay of about 9 months, we decided to move forward with AGA construction. No one is a tougher critic than me. I was dreading this project because of the amount of stress that I knew we’d be under. Both financially and mentally. We’ve all heard and/or lived thru the horror of a construction project gone wrong. I won’t bury the lead any further. We love our ADU!!!!! We started the project on Jan 31st of 2024. We were told that the project would take 6-8 months. We lost the first 6 weeks or so with the heavy rains from last year, but even with that delay, we were mostly done with the project by the middle of August. We ran into the “expected” unknowns and surprises – all dealt with fairly and quickly by Micky and team. I would like to call out Joachin who was amazing. We always felt like we were in the best of qualified hands during this entire process. All inspections were signed off, the last checks were written, and we now have a gorgeous new home behind the main house on that property. We were so happy with the project and trusted Micky and Joachin so much, that we immediately launched a second project of gutting and renovating a very large master bathroom for my In-Laws. That job started on September 23rd and was done the first or second week of November as promised. It would’ve been done sooner, but we had a little “client indecision” that cost us about a week or two. All in all, I would highly recommend Micky and his crew, and we plan to use them for as long as they are in business or until my family and I run out of projects."

"My wife and I recently decided to redo our walk-in closet. Because of my engineering background I drew up the plans and searched multiple cabinet shops throughout Orange County only to find that none except for one could provide me with the finished cabinets I hoped to get. Having been a customer of his for as long as he has been in business I should have realized that no one can compare with the craftsmanship that goes into each job that he does. Thank you Jacques, Angel, and the rest of the crew. You did what no others would do and I am truly thankful for that."

Creative Home Remodeling Group is a family owned business with a professional crew that has been working together for almost 15 years. We desire to enhance the lives of our clients by providing high quality projects with hands-on service and minimal disruption to the family environment, building trust through communication and attention to detail. Since 2000, Creative Home Remodeling Group, Inc. has helped Southern California area homeowners make their remodeling dreams a reality. Our experienced craftsmen and personal attention to every project ensures that every customer is 100% satisfied. As the owner, I personally oversee every job from start to finish along with my staff. Once a job begins, you can be assured that each day we will be working towards it's completion. As a member of NARI, I have pledged to live up to the organization's high standards of honesty, integrity and responsibility.

"We’ve been renovating for a few years now and have hired various contractors through phases of our home. Our recent particular project was a difficult one, I knew it would be costly, we would find more issues my house is 100 years old and on top of that the ADU was not permitted), and it was important to do it once and do it correctly. I had many quotes to repair and waterproof our ADU and I am so glad we chose Creative Home Remodeling to finish our project. Ben led the project so I could focus on my day job, kept me informed daily, reviewed all changes and findings as we went, and kept things on schedule. We decided on solutions together and it’s been a few months now with peace of mind that it was done right. I also liked that they are familiar with small and large projects, mine wasn’t large but was challenging with essentially a re-build of one side of the ADU, the concrete behind it, putting in french doors and stucco/paint. We would definitely recommend and use again."

"I really enjoyed working with Mike, Chris and June. I had high hopes of getting into our remodeled home within the allotted time that was discussed in the contract but when Covid hit it made the process much longer. Our choices were out of stock or were coming in later than promised. But overall Mike and his team were so professional and so honest with me and my husband about what step they were on or any problems that came up. I would definitely recommend and rehire again in the future. Thank you Mike and Chris"

The cost of home remodeling is $50,000 for the average homeowner. However, this cost can range anywhere from $3,000 for a small project to $170,000 for a whole home remodel. Factors like project size, location, and room type all affect your overall cost. For example, bedroom remodeling costs are one of the least expensive projects, costing about $1,500 to $5,500 per bedroom. However, a kitchen remodel has a significant cost range, totaling anywhere from $14,500 to over $70,000.

Yes, most states require home remodeling contractors to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed home remodeling contractor could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.

The best time of year to remodel your home is late winter and early spring when fewer homeowners are thinking about projects and pros are more available. Also consider the type of remodel you want and plan ahead as much as possible. For example, the summer is a great time of year to update your fireplace, but winter is a better option for fixing foundations and building room additions.

There are a few things you can do to prepare for a home remodeling project to ensure a smooth construction process. Creating a detailed budget can help you stay on track, especially with the excitement of new construction or upgrades. It’s also beneficial to map out a remodeling timeline with your contractor to have clear expectations. In addition, you’ll want to prepare the space that will be worked on ahead of time—this could be tarping furniture or entirely removing belongings from the room.

Home renovation insurance, sometimes called “dwelling under renovation coverage” or “builder’s risk insurance,” helps financially cover any damages that occur during the home renovation process. While different from typical homeowners insurance, many homeowners insurance policies already include some sort of home renovation insurance or offer it as an additional add-on. While this insurance isn’t necessary for every home remodeling project, it’s best to contact your insurance company to verify if it’s needed and what your coverage options are.
