I had major foundation repair work completed by EagleLift (now part of Groundworks) in 2023. The project included underpinning the perimeter foundation with more than 20 push piers and replacing approximately 50 crawl-space posts. Problems began on day one. Even after this costly repair, several areas of the house remained unlevel. EagleLift attempted to correct the issue but was unable to do so. The situation worsened after EagleLift became part of Groundworks. Groundworks has failed to respond to my service requests, despite my 25-year warranty being part of the contract. "If you want a company that guarantees their work don’t choose Bellows. I paid a ridiculous amount for a new HVAC system and one week after install it stopped working. This happened on a Saturday and they don’t have technicians available for emergencies on weekends and they won’t reimburse for a company that does. They told me not to worry we’ll make it right but the earliest service date they had available was two weeks later. Post sale they don’t care about the customer or about the quality of their work. "System Pavers is HIGHLY motivated and well optimized to make the sale – but they WILL NOT stand behind their “system.” If/when problems develop (even due to their own failures), you are on your own. After a very high-pressure sales pitch (disguised as a “design meeting”) with all the accoutrements (fancy PowerPoint demonstration, a copy of their very large surety bond, commitments that they will stand behind us, and a “discount” that magically expired the same day), System Pavers completed our $72k backyard paver project in September 2021. Over the next few weeks, the pavers began to separate, sag, and “crown.” Also, the drainage in many areas was toward the house, not away from it. They did come back a couple of times to remove pavers, recompact, and reset. However, when failures continued, they asked us to let the system fail for another year so they would only have to do a major rehabilitation once. When that year elapsed, they were nowhere to be found. Very difficult to get them to come back out. Then, instead of fixing the failed system, they had a soils engineer evaluate. The engineer’s report confirmed they did not properly prepare the subgrade. They recently sent an email essentially saying they didn’t want to keep spending money on their failed system. They also claimed the warrantee would not cover the repairs. They are simply walking away, leaving us with an unsafe, embarrassing backyard and a worthless major investment. What a joke. PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY."

"Contractor ruined our kitchen floor because he leveled and installed flooring incorrectly and ultimately had to remove it. He recommended a subcontractor to fix his poor leveling and flooring job but has refused to repay us for the damaged flooring we had to replace and for the work we had to pay the flooring installers to fix his work. We were left with a hole in our kitchen floor for months. The work done was sub par and he never completed the finishing touches he promised. There were also several instances throughout the job when he came by the house without consulting us first."

"As as part of our remodeling efforts we needed a plumber to install a new sink, garbage disposer, kitchen faucet, complete sink trap, air gap and three water valves. My wife has been without her kitchen for a month now. I called Reliable Plumbing & Heating Services who are now out of Sand City. I chose them because of the previous work they did for me as I had a leaking underground pipe that two other plumbing companies I called could not locate. I called on a late Wednesday afternoon close to quitting time. I told them that my wife would like the sink installed ASAP and if they could help us out. The next morning at 8:00 am I was told that they just had a cancelation and would be able to install our sink today. They sent out Joseph Aguilar who I was happy to see who had fixed a previous underground water leak for us. He did a great job, is very friendly, extremely competent and whom I would strongly recommend if you need any plumbing work done."
