This was one of the worst experiences I have had with a vendor. In my opinion if you will be installing vinyl flooring do not use Mike. We split the project into 2 phases. Thank goodness. Phase 1 install did not go well with several areas of unevenness. After he was informed of this it took a couple of months for him to check it out and verify it needed to be redone. I wanted this area redone before proceeding on to phase 2. At this point I had no confidence that phase 2 would go any better. Mike said he’d fix the floor when they came out for phase 2. I still did not have an estimate and got the runaround in trying to schedule phase 2. At this point I called in other floor installers, who confirmed the bad install. I hired another person to do phase 2 and to fix the phase 1 job. To date Mike has refused to reimburse me for the fix.

The experience was great. The installation group was through and paid attention to the small details that make a difference in outcome. They were very efficient and easy to work with. German arranged excellent service and really understood carpet installation and our needs.

German was incredible from start to finish. So quick to return initial contact. Came a few hours later to give quote. Quote was extremely reasonable for damage done. He showed up on time the next morning and was polite, quick, efficient, and did a marvelous job repairing the carpet. Would recommend him anytime and will definitely call him again should I ever need any repairs in the future.

My experience with M&M Custom Flooring was exceptional from start to finish, and I can enthusiastically recommend them. If you're in the market for a new floor and you care about quality, this place NEEDS to be on your short list. I'm easily overwhelmed by choice. There were dozens of flooring contractors in my area, not to mention hundreds and hundreds of different floors to look at. But I had to start somewhere, and M&M was actually the first shop I happened to walk into. Luckily for me, the owner Mike was there, and for 15 minutes he sat down with me and answered all my questions. I walked out feeling a lot less confused about the whole thing. Over the next several weeks, I visited 5 or 6 different shops, talked to 3 or 4 different installers, saw more wood samples than I ever want to see again, and gathered a few quotes. In the end, my gut told me to go with Mike and M&M Flooring. They were not the cheapest quote, nor the most expensive. But more than anyone else I talked to, Mike inspired confidence in his honesty, his experience, and the pride he takes in his work. Also I have to say that his office staff were always very friendly to me, and I never felt rushed or pressured there. In the end, my gut was right. Mike and his team of installers went above and beyond my expectations. As a homeowner, it can be scary to leave an expensive project in the hands of total strangers. But on day one, it became obvious I had nothing to worry about. Mike is an artist and a perfectionist, and he demands that of his crew as well. They executed the job with a level of craftsmanship and attention to detail that put my mind well at ease. Two days after the floor was complete, I noticed a few small spots that needed cleaning. Despite already being paid in full and moving on to the next job, Mike himself came back to scrub the floor, along with one of his crew. He said that he wouldn't be happy with the job until I was happy. Well, I'm very happy. And if you hire these guys, you will be too.

We had old rolled linoleum/vinyl flooring throughout our kitchen, laundry and one of our bathrooms. We had a problem under our dishwasher and around our side door with the floor feeling soft/spongy. Mike came out an gave an estimate and invited us to his shop to look at samples. I was impressed with his selection. We went with a vinyl tile, which actually needs to be grouted. They started on Monday morning and finished on Thursday morning. These guys were thorough! They even helped with a couple of extra items that needed to be fixed in order to help the job along a little easier, so we got a little bonus there! Mike is easy to talk to and the workman are easy to communicate with. They even had a pitbull they needed to work around and they took care to not accidentally let her out of the house. We had a couple weeks after we signed the quote for the work to begin just because we had other work going on in the house and the Thanksgiving holiday. I was a little nervous because I hadn't heard much from them as far as making sure everything was on schedule. What I later found out is that I selected a very competent group of people. I will be recommending them to friends and family. Very happy to have found them!

Job went well from estimate with owner Mike to completion. Happy with the "new" look of our now finished 1946 floors. Mike checked on progress while Obett and crew were professional and got the work done in a much shorter time than expected. Will probably use again soon for some other flooring needs.

Mike, of M&M Custom Flooring, and his crew, Nick and Sean, just completed our new kitchen floor and we can't speak highly enough about the great job they have done for us. Always on time. Didn't go over budget. The layout is superb. They did fantastic work from start to finish. It was a pleasure working with them. We would highly recommend them.

This is the second time we have used M&M Flooring for new carpeting. Both times the process was flawless. Mike was very helpful in figuring what carpet would work best for our situation. The installation was perfect. Call Mike, you won't be disappointed!

I would rate him a B+. He explained everything to me, and how to handle things after he left, which I appreciated. I have nothing to compare this to, as this is my first time dealing with having to have my carpet stretched. My only problem was that he had to take so many phone calls while he was working to schedule other work jobs, that it took much longer to do the work that he had to do here. He did do a good job and I am pleased overall. I would hire him again and would refer him to others.

It went very well! Mike did a thorough review of the damaged area and explained that the whole floor would probably require sanding and re-staining after the replacement pieces were installed. The workmen did an excellent job of discovering 'soft' wood that also should be replaced so I felt confident that it was a thorough job. The finished floor is beautiful. The workmen were very professional and completed the job on time. Extra compliments to Israel! I would definitely recommend this company and would use them again if the need arises!

The service was excellent. Very professional and friendly. Cleaned their area when finished, Showed up on time and worked with excellence in mind- no short cuts. Open to suggestions and answered my many questions.. This is the second time I used them and would do so a 3rd time when there is a need.

Great service began with a quick return call and visit from Mike. Thought I might have to replace damaged hardwood flooring in one room but Mike reassured me that the wood could be repaired and refinished. Was he right! His pleasant team worked quickly and professionally. Thorough cleanup when finished too. The floor is just beautiful and matches the wood in the rest of the house. I couldn't be happier with the quality, service, and price. I wouldn't consider going to anyone else for my flooring needs!

Mike is the real deal - incredibly knowledgable and with tons of integrity. When we bought our condo, the one thing that we needed to deal with right away was some horrible 70s-era carpet in terrible condition. Mike immediately put us at ease - he found the perfect laminate to match some existing hardwood floors, patiently helped us pick out carpeting, and then absolutely went above and beyond to deliver incredible service and value at every turn. And in the end result, we couldn't possibly be happier. Simply put, M&M Custom Flooring was the best decision we've made as homeowners. Already thinking ahead to the next job we can have them do. This is the third time we have used M&M Flooring's services. As was the case the first two times, our experience was perfect! Mike gave us an estimate and then sent out his crew to perform the work. They moved all our furniture out before the work was done, and then replaced it when the work was complete. Mike's workers are always on time, professional, neat, and courteous. It is so nice to deal with a company that is trustworthy, honest, and reliable! I'm sure we will use M&M's services again in the future.

The repairs done were beautifully executed, looked like the original flooring. Would highly recommend his company.

Everything went well. I had moved all the furniture and drapes from the rooms, so the crew was able to do their work. The new finish is just what I wanted, and the sanding and sealing happened with no mess in either of the adjacent rooms. This is my second time using this company.

I would absolutely hire Mike again for any flooring needs! He and Casey were responsive, kind, and informative throughout the process of redoing my master bedroom flooring, and his prices are fair. Mike and his installers even promptly returned to my home after finishing the job to add a few other touches. I am totally in love with my new wood floors!

Excellent!!! M&M is a top-notch family run business. Daniel was terrific to work with. He came out to the house and spent an hour with us, explaining the options. Then a few days later he spent over an hour with us at the company's store in Burbank going over flooring samples and installation options. The work was done on time. He explained the budget in advance so we there were no surprises on price for the job. His son Zach did the work. We gave him keys and he was a pleasure to work with, guiding us and our expectations as the job progressed, asking for direction when he needed it... so we were always in control of the project. Overall this company is EXCELLENT!!! Responsive. Professional. A great team!!!!
