In 2005, Steven and Kelly Egloff founded Bay Area Underpinning with the goal of providing a cost-effective, engineered solution to foundation settlement problems with an emphasis on educating customers. Local businesses recently purchased by groundworks, now never answer phone, don't respond to questions/service/warranty. Absolutely do not use them. All sales, poor delivery/support. Untrustworthy warranty. Seems like Sunpower collapse all over again.

Bay Area Underpinning leveled my home which 1/2” sag/slope. I worked with Dan Rodriguez who was the most helpful and knowledgeable foundation expert. Dan determined the work required to level my home and provided a fair cost estimate. I appreciated BAU following all city/county permit requirements. Dan dispatched the BAU “A” Team to my home. Raul, Hugo, and Gustavo were professional and respectful. Raul walked me through every step of the leveling process. I would recommend Bay Area Underpinning to anyone looking to level their home.

I found Bay Area Underpinning to over perform. The team led by Moses was punctual every day. The replaced smart jacks, installed sump pumps and a moisture barrier. When I went under the house to see the results, I was both amazed and impressed with the quality result they delivered. I’ll definitely use them for underpinning as necessary.
