"After securing bids from 4 different companies for our landscape renovation project, I chose Conrad and Del Mar Landscaping for a variety of reasons. Not only did he come highly recommended with great reviews - but I felt the price he was quoting was incredibly fair. And personally - that's important to me. I've been through these projects enough to know when someone is bidding way too high - and way too low. In my honest opinion, Conrad was right on the money. Never felt like he was overcharging for the work - and felt like there was enough baked in for him to benefit from the project. Aside from those two reasons - Conrad is just one of those guys that - when you meet him - you know he's an honest, trustworthy and overall stellar individual. Very professional. Knows his business. And went over and above with every aspect of our project. This was a big undertaking. Almost all of the landscape/hardscape around the house was in shambles. And Conrad and his team pretty much touched every square inch. Conrad has an amazing group of guys working for him. Always respectful of us and our neighbors every step of the way. If you're considering a landscape or hardscape project - I give Conrad and his team the highest recommendation I can offer. He is definitely in high demand - so get in his queue now. His workmanship is worth any amount of time you may need to wait for your project to get rolling. But once it gets started - he and his team give you complete focus (start to finish). "Our project was one step and a landing on our porch. Approx. 30 sq feet. We had the top layer of tile removed and concrete around the door area chiseled and jack hammered away. They then cut fossil stone for risers and step/landing in large squares as requested. They did put up a moisture barrier at the entrance and calked after grouting the stone. This was done upon the City of Downeys expectations. I believe that wouldn't have been done had I not called the city to come by to clarify the code for this job. So my only complaint is that some workers, actually most don't keep up or research the code. Then when the city does visit you may have to tear down a project and re do it. That can be costly and frustrating. Our porch and step look great. Not sure if the cost to us was cheap, but it is done and looks great."

"This years rain brought a very bad weed and brush problem at my property (@4,000sf of hillside planters). Weeds were 4 -5 feet high in some areas and almost every inch of my property was covered. The previous company i used was OK, but i did not really like the owner who seemed a little "off" and would just pull a number quickly out of his head before he even discussed the scope of work. I had been looking at landscape reviews for some time...all had some negative reviews along with positive. I finally decided to give C. Perez a try (least concerning negatives and a lot of positives). I reached out to Cipriano who was on time (actually early) for the consultation. He thoughtfully looked at the scope of work, and actually gave it some thought before blurting out a figure. We discussed the options of hand pulling vs. weed whacker and which locations would be best for each method. He gave me a price that I thought was fair. Cipriano texted me to confirm the night before, and the crew (i think there were four total) showed up on time and got to work immediately. They actually completed the work in less time than they had originally estimated, but they did not cut any corners. They did the job almost entirely by hand with only one small area using the whacker. They removed a few dead shrubs for me, clipped a few tree branches and cleaned up corners I had not pointed out to them...they even pulled some weeds between the driveway stones and on my deck. I could not believe how thorough they were and how neat and clean everything was left. I wish I had taken before and after photos but sadly I did not. I would absolutely use them again and recommend to anyone looking for a hardworking, sincere company owner that seems to genuinely want to do the best job he can for his clients."

"If you are looking for a professial concrete contractor, I highly recommend Bill Haddad and his crew. Bill was proactive in addressing issues and was informative in regards to our concrete project including drainage. Bill provided great communication, kept us informed at every point, and seamlessly coordinated the various aspects from the Dig Alert, the demo and hauling, to the actual concrete truck. The crew was quick, efficient and the final product was exactly as promised. They even adjusted the slope to direct water away from the garage. The difference is clear in appearance and durability. It's a new property entrance."

"We have been extremely pleased with both the product and customer service at Pacific Garage Doors and Gates. They have been professional, prompt, and we love our driveway gate. It was initially installed in March 2016, they were very flexible and responsive to our design requests, painted the posts at no extra cost, and overall did an amazing job. We unfortunately had some damage/wear and tear occur to the gate and difficulty latching, but they were able to send someone out the same day we called and fix the issue, free of charge. The price is comparable to other companies we looked at/had quotes from, but the customer service and responsiveness have been above and beyond our expectations.
