Roadway MovingAmazingly seamless. The entire team from their on call representatives to the drivers to the movers - were all so very professional and kind. I was very concerned about moving during a pandemic however Roadway made me feel safe and their team kept their distance, wore correct masks/gloves, and really made me feel at ease. Five Star Moving and StorageAnother company cancelled on us a week before our move, so I called 5Star desperate. Not only was their pricing better than the other company, but the experience was EXCEPTIONAL. From the details provided when setting up the appointment, to the advice on number of movers/trucks suggested for our move, getting things in place was a breeze. The actual move surpassed my high expectations! Boris, Chris, Jose, Vanya, and David were all professional and exceptionally hard workers. Our house was FULL of stuff, and once I explained what I wanted to happen, they worked together to box our garage, kitchen, and pantry and move mountains of heavy furniture. No space was wasted in the truck, and all items were well protected by their careful wrapping and packaging. I didn’t have a chance to clean before they arrived, and they never made us feel judged or embarrassed for not having a Pinterest perfect house. They showed us exceptional respect and professionalism from the moment they arrived. Their unloading process was even more than I could have hoped for. At our new house I showed them which bedrooms were which (pink room, blue room, main bedroom), and I got to direct traffic as they unloaded all the furniture and boxes. I can’t say enough positive things—they even helped separate garage boxes based on which cabinets I planned to put everything in…and I only had to explain once what I wished to happen, and they communicated wonderfully together to get it done. In one day, They did a job that would have taken any other movers two days, and they did more than any other movers at this price point. They wrapped door frames in blankets to protect the walls, they took apart and reassembled our king bed without needing any instructions from us, they checked in with me regularly to make sure I was happy with their progress, they offered advice on how to best stack boxes at our new home to make unloading easier on us in the future, and they didn’t utter a SINGLE complaint or express concern when I changed my mind about what room a box should go in or what wall a bookcase should abut. I hope everyone that uses this company tips these people exceptionally well—they earn every penny, and make every effort to turn “usually-stressful-and-anxious Moving Day” into a comfortable (for me!) well choreographed event. I rarely take the time to write reviews, but I could sing the praises for these guys and this company for days and days. In short: great FAIR pricing, reliable company, exceptionally hard workers, professional employees at every stage from planning to the actual move, and the ONLY company I would ever use again.- Heidi B.

Excellentcustomer service from the appointment setter Robert Mendez to the actual movers. We had an arrival time between 8:30am and 9:30 am. They arriced at 8:30 and began wrapping furniture, beds and other items as needed Their teamwork from the Foreman (Tim) and 2 additional workers (Angel and Walter) was amazing, This move was from a 3 story house with 3 flights of stairs from from bottom to top. 1 bedroom/bath on the 1st floor, 2nd floor living area Kitchen, dining room and living room There were 2 bedrooms/2 baths on the 3rd floor. Many trips were made up and down the stairs. They worked well together and had an amazing work ethic for 3 young men. Nothing was broken, beds were unassembled and re-assembled at the new condo without a hitch. They all were gracious, personable, friendly and had a great attitude. They set the bar VERY high for their Customer service

Moving can be stressful but these guys made it easy. The quote was on target (within 9$ which they footed), they were nice, efficient, kept checking in to make sure we were satisfied, dealt with everything at the storage unit - all without me even being there. We have a long distance move coming up and these guys (Al, Mike, and Misha) are our first choice.

The overall service was absolutely terrible. There was high pressure to higher three movers instead of two, which was more money. I was told to move would take four to five hours and it took over eight hours. It took two and a half hours to load the truck, 15 minutes to drive, and about 5 hours to unload. The movers spent a lot of time standing around. They insulted me several times during the move stating " I had too much stiff for a single person". They damaged almost every piece of furniture they moved, with scratches, dents, and cracks. They scratched my fridge down to the metal underneath and put several dents in it. The damaged doorways and walls. They leaned heavy pictures on my TV screen without putting anything in between them to protect it which damaged the TV. They damaged the structure of both homes that they moved my furniture in and out of. They did not place my furniture where I asked them to and instead put everything in a pile downstairs. They left my back sliding door wide opened and blocked anyway to get to it to close it without climbing in and out of boxes and items of furniture. I wanted them to move me on Saturday but they Said if I moved on Saturday when it was raining they were not responsible to damages to the items or to my flooring. So I rescheduled to Tuesday and I told them I would be working virtually during that time. They assured me that everything would go smoothly and my things would be well taken care of. They are not being responsive and not giving me their insurance information. I would like to resolve this and I would like for them to contact me with a resolution.
